unexpected incidents

<pre>"Finally..." I sighed as the taxi pulled up outside our new flat, we'd been there before obviously to see it, my car was parked outside as was Jess', and all the stuff we needed was inside, thanks to our families.

We got inside, despite being so tired, we sorted out a few bits and tried to make it a bit more like home. "When do you start work?" I asked, "tomorrow" she signed loudly, "unlucky.... I don't till tuesday" I stuck my tongue out before going into my own room, shutting the door and planning to sleep but ending up thinking about things... Life in general, bumping into Aston weirdly made me think back to all this stuff, how much he's achieved and what's going on in life now..... He's part of britains biggest boyband and I'm starting a new job 2 days away in a clothes shop, can see who's the most successful one there!

I woke up the next morning, Jess not here as she went to work, giving me time to unpack some things. I liked the flat, it was quite big, gave us space to be on our own or obviously sit together, have a girly night or whatever... It was nice not to be alone. I picked up my phone, Mum texting me worrying as usual, *you alright love? got home safe? Let me know, mum xxx* I laughed to myself at how much she worried despite me being 22 now, *yep we're home :) thanks for bringing everything here, I'm fine thank you, xxx* I replied.

First day of work and late... Great start! "SO sorry, I'm not used to the traffic around here, it won't happen aga-".."Don't worry" a middle aged woman, my boss, laughed. "Just make sure you're on time tomorrow" I was relieved, never like to be late, and don't like first impressions to stick. She introduced me to everyone and told me what I was doing, it was only a small job till I hopefully found something else.

"Good day?" Jess asked as I came through the door, "yeah alright I guess" I smiled asking her too. She had a better job than me, works for a magazine, about fashion as well as interviewing celebrities occasionally.
