unexpected incidents

part four

Now my second day at work, yesterday was good and I'd already made friends with a few of them. Everyone seems lovely. I headed out the shop going to find somewhere to get something for lunch, Nandos was opposite the shop, perfect for me. I walked in, ordering some chicken to take away, hearing a voice I recognised as I handed my money over.... I turned round, Aston, totally confused as to how we hadn't seen each other in years, yet bump into each other twice in 4 days? "Alright?" He laughed as he noticed me, "yeah I'm good, slightly scared as to how we've just bumped into each other again but yeah I'm cool"..."Is slightly weird yep but anyway... Guess we both got the same idea" he laughed holding up the nandos menu, I nodded before he sat down at a table waving me over, I was planning to take it away seeing as I didn't wanna sit alone but now he was here, I joined him feeling slightly awkward despite the fact we used to such close friends. "How come you're here then? Working round here?" I asked, "yeah, in a studio up the road with the boys, you?".."Ah wicked, and just got a small job in the shop across the road, some money before I find a proper job" I laughed. "This is all quite weird really.... I dunno what to say...." I muttered letting with a smile on my face, him laughing "you look scared babe! Its still Aston..... same person..... Might be a member of UK's biggest boyband though" he winked, "gotta reinforce that to me haven't ya!" I joked, "may have forgotten!" he added before we tucked in to our food, still talking though and it feeling a little less awkward by the end, he was right, he hadn't changed.. I was just shocked to bump into him, AGAIN.

"Shit, I'm late" he rolled his eyes, "aston merrygold.... never on time" I laughed, "gimme your number and ill text you some time, catch up again, I miss those years we were all good mates, shame I had to move" I took his phone, typing my number and giving it back to him, "yeah but look how successful you are now, don't blame ya! Anyway nice seeing you again" he gave me a quick hug before we both rushed off. Well that was unexpected....

2nd time I've bumped into him in the past 3 days.... After 4 years of not seeing each other?! Was good though to know our friendship from years ago hadn't gone to waste and maybe we could have it to come again.... Although with his busy schedule I wouldn't bet on it, probably the last time we'd see each other.
