unexpected incidents

part five

I'd been in London only a week yet was back to Peterborough now for the weekend, to see my family and catch up with Ria, my best mate from school and had been my best mate up till now, still was I guess despite the fact I wouldn't get to see her as much. I was staying at my Mum's tonight, then Ria's on Saturday and Sunday night where no doubt we'd have a lot of fun.

"you alright love?" my mum smiled giving me a hug as I walked through the door, "I'm good thanks, you?"...."Fine thanks darling" she sat down as did I, "so how's London? And how was Ibiza?"...."It's good and that was good" I laughed, "and work?"...."Same, its goooood" I smiled explaining everything, having a nice night in with my Mum, we were really close, so living away I could tell would be a bit difficult, then again, it still wasn't too far away.

After spending one night at Mum's, tonight I was at Ria's and then again tomorrow night, the plan for tonight was too go out, tomorrow was to stay in, have a chat, eat loads of food, watch TV, the normal. "You'd think I'd run out of outfits with the amount of times I've been out in the last week" I laughed digging a dress out my bag, "you've got enough to last you a life time"...."Not quite.. What about this one?" I held one up" and she without even thinking about it insisted I wear it, that's that sorted then. "Who'd actually going tonight? Just us?"...."Erm yeah, and JJ.... Not sure if anyone else is", JJ and I were also good mates at school, it was the four of us really... Me, Ria, JJ and Aston. I'd seen JJ only a few weeks back as well as Ria, obviously, it was just Aston who I hadn't seen in years, until this week. It didn't make sense really but he still came down here every so often and Ria saw him occasionally, JJ saw him often, yet in all those year's I hadn't bumped into him till Ibiza. I guess I was just always working or in the wrong place at the wrong time when he did come back down. "Aston might be coming too, not sure though" "really?!" I asked sounding shocked, doesn't he have work? "Yeah why? Don't you want him too?"..."na its fine, just haven't seen him in ages" I lied, couldn't be bothered to explain that I'd bumped into him, and well technically... I only spent 30 mins max chatting to him. "When was the last time?"..."When he moved to London" she looked pretty shocked by my answer. "Seriously?! Oooo he'll be after you tonight then, 10x more than before".."What?"...."He used to fancy the fuck outta you back then, imagine him now"..."Yep when he has thousands of girls now chasing after him" I laughed, going to get changed and shower. Ria always used to tease Aston cause he supposedly "fancied" me, I was never interested in him yet she was still on a mission to get us together, sadly for her, her plan never worked out. I showered and got out, sliding my dress on and drying my hair, hearing Ria talk downstairs as well as other voices, assuming whoever else was coming had arrived, before we would then go to the club a bit later. I wasn't sure on whether to go downstairs having not done my make up and hair or just stay upstairs and wait till Ria came, anyway I stepped out the bathroom, being scared the fuck outta who had just came out the other room. "You fucking scared me" I laughed, being slightly embarrassed by how I looked right now, no make up, awful hair but he'd seen me at my worst before, the days I wasn't even interested in make up and hair stuff. "Sorrrrrrrry" he bit his lip stopping him from laughing. "Didn't expect you to be here" he muttered, "nice to be wanted" I said sarcastically, "I didn't mean-"..."I'm joking!" I laughed giving him a hug. "Ria thinks we haven't seen eachother since you left, I can't be bothered to explain, knowing her she'll make some sorta story out of it and shit"...."I know what you mean...... Years of being teased by her..... Shame it never worked though" he smirked looking at me, never before had he actually admitted that he did like me back then, I know its clear he doesn't now but still, back then he always denied it and it was weird to hear him say that. "I'll leave you to get ready anyway"...."Tell Ria I need her up here" I shouted whilst he was walking down the stairs, "okaaaaaaaay" he said, myself then hearing him then tell Ria "Ash says she needs you, she's having a disaster and is about to have a mid life crisis and I wasn't good enough to solve it" Not quite what I said but I guess it got her upstairs.....
