Valkyrie woke to find Skulduggery no longer besides her, she checked the time. It was 10am! Why hadn't Skulduggery woke her up!? Sure she had throw a mug at him for it before but still! Grumbling she got out of bed and checked herself in the mirror she was still wearing her football jearsey and shorts and her dark hair was in a lose bun on top of her head. Shrugging she started to head downstairs. As she headed downstairs she called "Skulduggery Pleasent why didn't you wake-" she was cut of by little Alice running towards her and wrapping her arms around Valkyrie's legs. Of course!! How had she forgotten that her parents were arriving at 10am!! "Stephanie!!" She squealed. "Hey Alice! You've grown allot, your almost as tall as me!" Valkyrie said as she lifted her little sister and carried her to the living room where her parents and Skulduggery were sitting. "Stephanie!" Her mum wrapped her into a hug. When she had let go her dad said "Hi Stephanie, how are you? Saved the world recently?"
