Sams POV
I was walking out of the school with my earbuds blasting animal by neon trees when i felt someone tap on my  shoulder. I took out my earbuds and paused my music, when up I was meet with dark ocean blue eyes i swear it was like i was drowning in them. "Hi im Colby" i jumped a little when he said it "oh sorry did i startle you?" He questioned "wow his voice is deep" i thought "oh yeah im fine, im sam" i said "you heading this way" he said and pointed towards where my path way to get home "yes actually it is" i responded "well then can i walk with you?" He questioned " "why not" i said. On the way home it was kinda quiet but he kept brushing against my arm and kept hitting my hand, but im pretty sure it was just an accident. When we got to my house we exchanged numbers and that was really all that we did the whole time. "Bye Sam" he yelled while walking away and waving "bye Colby!" I yelled back and frantically waved my hand and arm. As I walked inside i noticed that my dad wasnt in his normal spot on the couch passed out, he was somewhere else which meant i had to quickly scurry my way through the house so he wouldnt notice me. As i quietly shut the screen door i heard a bang from the kitchen, i knew it was him and of course my bed room was upstairs...and i had to go through the kitchen. "God dang it" i thought to myself as i slowly waled through the house and into the kitchen. "WHO WAS THAT WHO WALKED YOU HOME?!?!" my dad slurred drunkenly, "it was just a friend" i said quietly "IT BETTER BE CAUSE I DONT WANT A FAGGOT OF A SON!" he yelled and slapped my face. I knew not to whimper or say anything after that but i accidently let out a low whimper and that set him off. He threw me to the ground and started beating me, beating me harder than he ever has and each hit just kept getting harder and harder to the point where the pain was unbearable and i just gave up. Even thought thats what he wanted i couldnt handle it anymore, and then i blacked out.
