*Colbys POV*

When Sam called me i got all exited inside but i dont know why, i got like butterflies its weird ive never felt like that before. When he said he needed me to pick him up i was confused but he sounded upset so i decided to do it. As i pulled in i saw him speed walk over to the car, he was all black and blue with blood all over him. He plain up looked like he killed someone. When he got into the car he yelled "Drive and fast!" So i put the car in reverse and sped away from his house. When i looked over he was crying but making no noise so i just decided to grab his hand, he looked confused at first but then he grabbed it back and i got butterflies again "why do i keep getting those?" I thought in my head. I pulled into a parking lot that was on a hill, it was meant for star gazing but it was empty so it was fine. When i parked i got out and grabbed my blanket out of the back, then sam got out and started walking over to a good spot. We sat together and after around 5 minutes of silence i asked him what happened, and he explained that his dad was abusive and was a alcoholic and a drug addict. After he was done he broke down in tears. I imidiatly grabbed him and let him fall into my arms, "is there anything i can do to help?" I questioned knowing that there was nothing but i thought it would help to ask.  "Just hold me...please i need you right now" he  whimpered into the the crook of my neck. I could feel the tears running down his face, and i pulled him impossibly closer to my body. I cared for him so much even though we had only just met earlier that day, there was just something about him that drew me closer.
