I awoke with a groan, sitting up inside a tent. Bandages were wrapped around my shoulders and neck. Also a smaller one on my arm.
I groan as I try to sit up. I'm in a gold and blue tent, most likely and Alliance tent.
A nurse walks in and is surprised. "You recovered very quickly!" She says. She walks over and starts to unwrap the bandages.
The bites on my shoulder and neck were healed over, leaving scars. You couldn't even tell I was cut on the arm.
"Where am I?" I ask her.
"Northrend, I'm surprised you didn't know since we found you in the middle of the battleground." She said.
"The Alliance saved me?" I ask. She nods in response.
"The General wants to see you, since you weren't any one of our soldiers. Do you feel well enough to walk?" She asks me.
I stand up and my legs hurt a bit, but are otherwise fine. I nod and she leads me out of the tent.
Outside it's like a madhouse. Wounded being carried to and fro, armor and weapons being carried, and people just plain running around.
I'm lead to the biggest tent in the camp, and I am lead in. The man who had given me a sword sits inside, waiting for me. He nods to the nurse, and she leaves.
"Hello again. See you got hit around a bit." He says.
"Yep" I respond to him.
"Well, the only problem is, nobody knew you were even a soldier. So you're either a spy, or somebody who snuck into the battle." He says with a frown.
"Well, I was actually pushed through a portal and ended up here." I say to him.
He frowns even more. "That doesn't even make any sense. Who pushed you through the portal? Horde? Alliance? Scourge, maybe?"
"It, it was my cousin. I don't know how but he conjured one and I fell through. My name is Bartim, by the way." I say.
"Well Bart, I suppose you can join us for a bit, cause we're gonna need as much help as we can get. We are getting very close to Ice crown Citadel. The closer we get, the more undead come."
I nod. "Alright then, I'll have a soldier lead you to a tent." He says.
One of his men comes up to me and I follow him. I assume he's a warrior. I follow him to the edge of the camp, where an empty tent lies.
"Sorry you gotta be here, but we need to have some tents close to ICC. " He says.
I nod and he walks back towards the middle of the camp. I lie down on the bed and quickly fall asleep wondering what actually being in the Alliance was like.
