You woke up to the sound of quiet chirps from the birds outside.
5:00 am. The sun was just starting to rise. There were light clouds in the sky that you could just see out of your east-facing window. The calm stillness of the world around you made you feel a sense of tranquility. You turned around in the arms of your soulmate. You stared at them for the longest time, admiring their beauty. Perfection could be written across their face and no one would call them a liar. Their embrace was so warm and comforting. You felt safe and happy. This morning was the morning of your dreams. You stared out at the rising sun. The sky was so colorful. It was filled with wonder. The world was so magical in this moment. You could play it on repeat forever. The sound of your significant other's quiet, steady breaths relaxed every muscle in your body. They awoke to see you staring at the beautiful blossoms out the window, standing by the window.

"Good morning," they said quietly with their raspy morning voice.
"Oh, you're awake," you responded softly.
You could feel the waves of happiness grow larger as you felt so calm. This feeling... was so amazing. It was slowly rushing over you. This was the first time you really felt in the moment. You were here, now. The person that you were going to spend the rest of your life with was here with you. You couldn't be happier. They came up behind you, wrapping an arm gently around your waist.
"Isn't this lovely?" You said admiringly.
"It's beautiful. I want to spend every day, waking up in the morning to you and the beautiful sunrises." They looked at you, holding all the stars in their eyes. You looked back with a sweet smile. They swore that you're smile light up their universe. "The sunsets and sunrises that I get to enjoy with you will always be treasured, but you shine brighter than the sun. You begin and end my day with the peace of mind knowing that you love me and I love you."
You rested your head on their shoulder and inhaled deeply, exhaling softly. "And I always will."
Your soulmate gave you a soft kiss on the head and you both stared out into the beautiful, calm world in front of you. You felt so alive and free. You felt like the universe just wasn't big enough to contain your love for each other. It was your own little world here. It was perfect.
You moved into a warm hug as the sun finally rose and you rested your head on their chest, listening to their soft heartbeat. You slowly snaked your arms around their waist and they held onto you softly at the upper back.
"This feels like a dream," you said, still feeling like it wasn't even possible for this beautiful moment, shared with your soulmate, to be real.
"This is my dream-come-true moment in life that I will never forget. Ever since the day I put this ring on your finger I have been the happiest person alive. I love you."
