These are just short little imagines in the second person with you (the reader) as the main character and just experiencing life. This could be with your soulmate, Best friend, acquaintance, family, etc. I make it as gender-inclusive as possible try...
"My heart fluttered until the end. Every time we spoke. Whenever you held me safe in your arms. How come when it broke, I did too? I have to remind myself to breathe as I lie in bed missing you. I look up to the moon and stars, hoping I'll find the brighter one. The one your soul resides in. How come I can't see it? How come you left me? Why did you promise forever if the afterlife would take you away before we could happily go together? Go see the world.
"Maybe that's what you're doing... Seeing all those beautiful sights without me. Maybe that's why I can't see you... Yeah.
"But... that beautiful crescent in the sky could never compare to what you gave me. The last item I had left of you that I could pass on to the children I will adopt. Why did it have to shatter like the pieces of my heart? Why did you break it? Was your last wish to destroy me? Destroy our beautiful memories? Destroy what I could've kept to remember you by? You told me to move on, but I can't until I can see that bright star shining through the misty night sky telling me you're okay. How can I know you're okay if I can't see you?
"I'm holding the broken pieces of the ring you gave me and broke for me. I want to get it repaired, but I know you'd be against it. This cost you so much. Why would you break it? Did you think it would help me move on? It didn't. I don't know how to tell you this... but I'm angry with you. You broke the ring. You broke your promises. You said we'd be able to get married soon. You said we'd be okay. You lied.
"But how could I blame you? You got sick. It was so unexpected. You never did anything wrong, but I did. I blamed you for my unhappiness and my loneliness. For the scars on my heart. I know it's my fault for getting all hung up over you, but how could I not? I miss you. I want you here with me again. I want you to run your fingers through my hair and kiss my forehead, telling me everything will be okay. I want you to cuddle me to sleep on the nights where all I can do is cry. I want to feel your touch again. I miss your hugs. I feel so alone."
The clock ticked its way to 11:11 and you looked back towards the large numbers.
"Make a wish, darling," you whispered, turning back to the shimmering sky.
