You took your best friend with you up a mountain near the town. You showed them the cliff. On that cliff stands, to this day, a tree with the most beautiful blossoms in the spring. It was spring. You had so many memories of sitting under that tree. Doing homework, writing in your diary, listening to music with your earbuds in, admiring the beauty of the crystal-blue lake below you, and how the waterfall to the right of it flows and crashes at the base of the mountain into the lake. You remembered watching the sunset and camping out under the tree. That alluring, cherry-blossom tree. Its pink bloomings gave you such beautiful nostalgia each time you went back there. It was your tree.

You looked down at the sparkling lake and glittering waterfall. You stared at the beautiful blossoms on your tree and looked towards your friend. You both admired the beauty in silence, letting the world talk for you. You made eye contact and face your body towards them, but you stepped closer to the end of the cliff. They ran forward to catch you, but you let yourself fall backward off the edge.

As you fell, time slowed. You gave them a look of both sadness and happiness. You were free-falling and you felt the wind fight against you, but gravity and your will to leave the Earth dragged you down. You turned your head towards the ever slow-falling waterfall and back to your friend. The world went quiet. You couldn't hear a thing, but to you, it looked like your friend screamed out your name and collapsed to their knees, a hand outstretched as if to grab you from the enlarging distance. You could feel that the nature's energy had changed to a state of pre-mourning.

You finally crashed into the lake, knocking the wind out of you. You sank as air bubbles began rising above you. Your body fell limp at the bottom and you lost consciousness. Your body automatically inhaled and your lungs filled with H2O. You drowned in your favorite place on Earth. And the last person you got to see was your favorite person. You died happy, knowing you'd be so. You have been missed dearly, my friend. My best friend. I will forever remember that day and sob. I still yell out your name into the valley from up on the cliff. You have a small gravestone set up at your tree.

I watched you fall in slow motion, but my world fell quickly. Time forever slows around me back at the mountain. The waterfall will be forever slow-falling, and the blossoms on your tree will forever drift leisurely to the grass. It's nature's way of mourning you. And I will forever live life in 𝓈𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝓂𝑜𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃.

Please don't do this. Please do not leave this world too early. There are so many people who love you, even though you may not know who they are! I love you. There are other ways. You can get through this. You are strong. You deserve the world. You will recover. Does it ever stop hurting? Maybe not. We just have to learn to live with the pain. Make it a part of us. Let it help us to develop into better, happier, kinder people. Find a motive. I'm right here, fighting with you, and for you! <3
