. . .

Masuda managed to get enough sleep, which was a good sign. She was relieved that she didn't have any nightmare attacks on the school infirmary, it would be just so embarrassing... Well, Recovery Girl woke the girl up about ten minutes before the break to check if everything was okay and ask a few questions. Unlike Present Mic, Aizawa made sure that at least Recovery Girl was aware of the redhead girl's problems because he wouldn't risk anything bad happening with the girl and Recovery Girl couldn't do anything to help. Masuda had no idea what Aizawa had said to Recovery Girl, but Masuda trusted her. Hearing the bell ring, Masuda thanked Recovery Girl for helping her once again and then started walking to the Main Cafeteria.

Arriving there she sighs slowly. She managed to rest but there was so much on her mind, especially what she had said to Kirishima. She felt so bad saying that when people cared about her, she felt useless, and Kirishima having to say that they were worried because they cared and not because she was useless. She felt bad saying all that to him, because Kirishima was just so nice to her, and in return she tells him not to worry and walk away from her? What a terrible person she is...

"Masuda! What a relief to see you! Are you feeling better?" Uraraka hugs the girl.

"Y-Yes! I just needed to take a nap..." she smiles at the girl and sees Midoriya and Iida walking towards her.

"Masuda-san! You're back!" Midoriya smiles with relief.

"Yeah, I'm fine now. But man, I'm starving...!" the girl makes a funny sad face making her friends smile. "I'm going to get something to eat."

"If you still want to sit with us, just come!" Uraraka smiles as the three go to their table.

Masuda practically runs up to the line to get food, and she takes a bowl of hot Soba and runs over to Todoroki.

"Hello there, Todoroki!" she smiles.

"You're fine now?" he says with a serious look.

"Y-Yeah, nothing that a nap doesn't solve haha..." she sighs nervously, sitting up.

"You can go sit with them if you want." Todoroki points to the three who were looking at him and Masuda, but they looked away quickly before the green-eyed girl noticed.

"I'll only go if you go too. There's no way I'm going to leave you here alone." she says being persistent making Todoroki look away from his soba and look at the girl sitting in front of him.

"Why?"

"Huh?" the girl asks with her mouth full.

"Why don't you want to leave me alone?" he looks into the girl's eyes.

"Because... in the past, I was the person who had to sit alone during the break... When I saw you here alone, I decided to keep you company because that was what people at that time didn't do for me." she says quickly looking away and paying attention to her soba, "I don't want to be like them."

Todoroki had finally discovered something more about the girl: she was lonely. He was a little too, but unlike that girl, he really didn't care. He liked the silence, he liked being alone and not having to worry about anything else. But that girl was totally the opposite, the silence bothered her, being alone brought back bad memories and that moment that was supposed to be peaceful and calm, ended up becoming just worries.

"You need someone to talk to." Todoroki says calmly, drawing the girl's attention. "I'm probably not this person. You should go sit with them, Masuda."

Masuda looks at the boy, surprised but confused. What was he saying? She didn't want to talk to anyone about the things that haunted her, nobody needed to know.
