13 - Departing...

THIRD POV.

"Silas," a familiar voice called. His eyes opened seeing the lovely brown eyes his mother had. "Mom?"  Silas murmured under his breath.

Samantha looked so young and beautiful wowing the young boy. Wondering his eyes beside her Silas noticed a man who's physique looked quite familiar.

'Dad?' he thought.

The man smiled at his realization before waving at him. "Hey, son" he smiled before looking towards his mother. They interlocked their hands looking deeply at each other as they then turn there gaze back to Silas.

"D-Dad?"  The boy stuttered. His mind running millions of thought of how could this be real. "You're a young man now," Ron chuckled tilting his head to the side.

"I'm kinda mad that I never had the chance to see you grow up this big," he consoled as Silas' mother rested a hand on his shoulder comforting him.

"I just wanted you to know, Son, that I have always loved you and have been watching over ever since," he stated. Silas's eyebrow raised in question. He looked at his father in disbelief.

His mother looked at Ron before nodding as though they were agreeing with something. Brushing her back she looked at him as tears began forming in her eyes.

"Silas honey, you're a young man now," she sniffled. "Mom, what is this?" I questioned. She releases Dad's hand before walking over to me.

"I never wanted things to turn out like this," shes cried reaching her hands towards Silas' face. "But I know you can get through this because you're strong just like me and your father," she wept, wiping the tears that silently fell down Silas' face.

The boy's heart thumped loudly against his chest feeling the pressure breaking his fragile heart. He denied everything his mind thought. He was no going to accept this.

"I'm gonna go with Ron now, okay," she smiled kissing her son's cheek. Silas shook his head in defiance he couldn't believ-, he won't believe this!

"Mommy, don't leave me," he sobbed. "Silas, me and your father will be right beside okay, don't worry," she comforted pulling him into a hug.

"I can't live without you," Silas wailed tightening his hold on his mother. Samantha's heart ached, she knew that Silas was not prepared for this but she knew he would make it through this. He was surrounded by good people.

"Silas, you'll get through this I know you will," she whispered releasing Silas from her embrace. "Samantha, Honey, it's time they're waiting," Ronnie said looking towards the glowing light.

There stood friends who have lost their lives. Dimitri, Isabella, Dickerson, Thomas's wife, and two girls, even Ron's brother, Rex, and plenty more stood there ready to welcome her.

Samantha smiled at them before turning back to Silas. "I must go now, I love you," Samantha expressed before grabbing Ronnie's hand as he then began leading them towards the light. They waved Silas one last goodbye before disappearing.

Silas dropped to his knees wrapping his arms around himself as he wailed in pain. His ached so much he felt as though he was dying. What was the point of his living if he had no one there for him.

"No! PLEASE!" he cried clutching his chest.

Silas' eyes shot wide open when he felt a pair of arms wrap around him. His tears soaked the shirt of whoever arms he was in.

"It's alright," a gentle voice spoke.  Silas' hand gripped onto Nick's shirt. Nick tightened his grip around the boy his heart broke seeing Silas so emotionally unstable.

Silas' been having nightmares for weeks ever since his mom's plane crash. Her body was not found yet so his parents had people looking out for her. Scared of what Silas would do to himself Dominick began sleeping in the boy's room where he'd wake up every night crying to himself.

'But this one seemed worsed the all the others' Nick thought. "She's gone," the boy cried. Nick's face softened in worry.

"Silas we don't know that yet okay, let's have hope," Nick tried to console but the boy shook his head in no.

"She said goodbye to be, Nick, she's not coming back," Silas bewailed as Nick began wiping his tears. He jaw clenched listening to his pup cry out his pain making his heartthrob.

"Is he back to sleep?" Paris asked his son, Nick who walked into the living room where he was. Nick sighed nodding before taking a seat.

Paris bit his lips before he looked towards everyone ready to start their family meeting.

"I call you all here because we finally got the answer we all was looking for," Paris began.

"Samantha's body was found, where she was in an induced coma which shortly after a week ago she lost her life and it's sad to say that she is no longer with us," Paris said.

The room was quiet. Autumn shook her head, Samantha couldn't be dead she was one of her mentors, like her mother she never had.

" We did some digging when we quickly discovered behind the plane crashed was none other than Ace," Paris stated. Nick's jaw clenched.

"But do not worry we will get revenge for her and Ron," Dominic said taking a stand next to Paris. "I never stick myself into others business but Silas is now apart of our family and Samantha was a friend of mine," Dominic growled.

"The Dragon's Blood Mafia hadn't been at war with someone in years and I was hoping to keep it that way but when you come to my friend you come at me," Dominic fumed turning over his gaze towards his eldest son.

"We will kill Ace Colletti merciless with no pity," Dominic stated. "With the help of the Scorpio's Mafia, we will take down this man," Dominic grunted looking over to Stefano who sat in his seat calmly.

"Now is not the time to mourn now is the time to be vengeful," Dom finished. Nick sat there quietly thinking of the only person who's heart would tear hearing this.

Silas.

This death truly was unexpected.
