Ok, you people aren't commenting. WHY? I kinda need the feed back, so like please. Thanks. Ok, enjoy!
-back in the room-
I hated what I just did, but I guess in the end, it was worth it. I'm back with Harley, she cried 3 times and fed me. I promised her that we wouldn't leave her behind next time. But in the meantime, we wait for Jake. Who apparently wasn't back yet.
"...I'm ok, I promise you, I'm fine!" I say to Harley, and yes, she's still asking after five hours.
"Fine, but don't you go pulling something like that again ok?" she asks.
"Ok." I say, "Wait, shhhh! I hear footsteps. Might be Jake."
Once again, my hearing was wrong, the doors did open. The guard pushed Jake to the ground, and closed the door.
"Jake!" cries Harley, "Are you ok? What happened? Where were you? What took so long?!"
He gets up and answers.
"Yes, I'm ok. I'm not exactly sure what happened. I was in the torture room. And they were torturing me."
"Harley," I say, "Jake must be hungry, can you bring him something?"
She nods, and goes out of the room. Now I can talk with Jake myself.
"I saw what you did." he says, before I can ask him anything. "The guy there told me that you're both the youngest, and the first girl to ever do that."
I didn't know what to say, but I found something just then. "Who told you that?" I ask.
"A guy with a cigarette in his mouth." he says, "He only ever took it out once, just before he-"
"We need to get out." I say, before he could finish. "We have to leave as soon as we can."
"W-wha?" he tries to say. "W-what? w-w-why? I mean we will, but, why as soon as possible?"
"Just trust me." I say, "Please?"
"Ok," he says.
When Harley comes back we tell her that we're all leaving in three days. She's both surprised, and excited. But we have no choice. Or at least I don't.
-3 days later-
"Ready?" I ask them.
"Yup!"
"'Course."
We start walking, we're already on the outside. Everything's the same, Harley stays close to me and Jake. And Jake is still clinging onto me.
We take the same root we did last time, so nothing really changes. Everything's the same, until we get to the elevator. When we get to the floor with the room, we get caught by the one and only: Dorien.
"What are you guys doing here?" he asks us, we really can't answer that because he knows exactly what we're doing.
"You know what we're doing." I echo my thoughts out. "We're running away, now let us pass."
I can't do anything to him because if I yell at him guards will come. If I slap him, he'll get angry and call the guards. So how can I leave without doing something. Even saying goodbye might end up in someone catching us.
"Will you just let us leave this place in peace?" says Jake. "Oh, and don't tell anyone."
"Wait." says Dorien, "I-I, uh, can I come with you?"
Why the hell would he want to come? I mean, he's a rich boy who gets whatever he wants. He has people fear him. And he wants to leave that behind for us? For, well, me?
"Listen, I know you guys think that I'm a rich kid," he starts, "but, I want to live dangerously. I need to get out of here. If I don't, I might just go insane."
"Well, I'm not old enough to make these kinds of decisions," says Harley, "but it wouldn't be so bad if you did come along. Right?"
I guess it wouldn't, Jake would have a guy to talk to. I would beat the crap out of him, but still, it would be good.
"I think it's ok." I say, "Jake?"
He sighs, but I also think he nods. So all four of us leave together. No one seems to follow us.
