Thank you so much for reading my first book and, enjoy.

-2 years later-

It's been two years now, and a lot has happened. Me and Jake are together, Harley's like best friends with my sister. I finished high school before I got into that hell of a place, because I actually did skip 2 grades. So I went to MIT. Best school ever by the way.

Harley and Annabeth are in the same grade, and go to the same school. I know you're wondering like, how? Well, my dad is rich, and he bought us a condo here in Chicago. We still visit Dorien in Boston, and I call him and all of that.

I'm 2 years into MIT, and I still can't decide if I want to be a reporter or author. Both kind of need an english degree, so that's what I'm doing. Jake is older so he's almost done Harverd. Everything couldn't be more perfect. And now we go to Dorien.

Dorien's father found him last year. He got in big trouble, like beat up kind of trouble. The last time I saw him, he had heeling whip scars and a black eye. That was four weeks ago. I'll be leaving for Boston with Annabeth in three weeks. But me and him call every other day.

He had some really big problems the first week or so. He's the fourth person to survive the pool. I'm the third as you know, but that's not the point. It was so painful just hearing him describe it. In fact this is the exact conversation we had on the phone!!:

"Hey, haven't heard from you in a while. What happened?"

"Nothing much."

"Come on, tell me. I know You're hiding something."

"Fine, but you won't like it. You sure you wanna know?"

"Yes! Just spill it!"

"Um, so, uh- my-uh, ok. My dad found me. Before you say anything, I'm ok, I have some fresh scars but they're healing. I just don't want you to worry."

"...."

"Hey, you there? Hello?"

"What- ya, I'll be there tomorrow"

"No, d-"

-end seen. AKA, I hung up-

When I got there, and yes I had the keys. Anyways, when I got there, his father was there. I had just walked in on a lecture. I thought he was along, but just in case, I left Jake outside the door. And you can guess what happened next:

"What did you do to him?!" I yelled at his father.

"Oh, hello girly. How's freedom treating you?" he said.

"Better then you're treating your son. Now answer the question!"

"Well, he survived the pool, I whipped him myself, and well, I took him in what used to be your home. Locked him up there for 2 day. No food, no water, just the empty darkness."

I didn't know that there were two guys behind me until he called them.

"NOW!!!" he yelled.

"Jake!!" I bellowed.

And as movie-like as it was, I took on, one of them, Jake took on the other. And Dorien took on his father. We beet and knocked all of them out. Then, we got Jake out with his stuff. We moved him to our apartment for a while, but he had a job in Boston. A girlfriend, and he had a life there.

We didn't want him to feel worse by keeping him in here, so we helped him find a new place. Even farther than last time. Ever since then, I've been checking on him every other day. Not too motherly, but just enough.

Now it comes to my father. This one will be short I promise. He got himself a girlfriend shortly after I moved back to Chicago. Jackie. Yuck, no one really likes her. Not even Katherine, and she's 5 years old!

But then again, we don't want dad losing another wife. That's right, they're married! They've known each other for less than 2 years and they're married! How? Well, don't ask me, because to be honest, I have no clue. But, what's done is done, am I right?

I don't even want to talk about them. Harmony is 4 years older than me, so she has a job, a dog, and a boyfriend. Not bad for taste actually. Both the dog and the guy. She moved to New York three months ago. She actually works at the NYT: New York Times. My sister's a reporter!

So ya, David's in grade 5, French isn't that easy for him, but he's doing well. Katherine's almost finished cindergarden. Life is good. Not really knowing my mother kind of sucks, but that's the only downfall. Everything else is great. Oh, and Harley insisted on getting a pet. So, I gave her the best cat ever.

He likes water, he's playful. His name's Eric. The kind man that helped us even against his own will. The best part about my life right now are the challenges. Having a cat while doing MIT. Beating up Dorien's father, while living in another city. But it's still fun.

I've lived in fear and pain. I've done those things that kids dream about. But being the 18 year old that I want, that's exactly what makes me Lillyan Rosaly Clarks.

The end
