Chapter Two (The French Leaper)

I finished training and left for School.

I was pretty fast when it came to getting to school on time, unlike Peter.

I'm right outside of Mid Town, and go in and straight to my locker, dogging all the human barracudas on my way. I'm not really a big fan of being stuck in really big crowds. Which is a very bad trait when you live in the big apple. The streets are full of people.

I open my locker and I grabbed my Science project and headed to science class, which my whole team was in.

I sit beside Sam.

"Hey Gold." Sam gained at me as I sat down next to him. 

"Hi Sam." I said back with a little announce, and gave him small grin.

'I have to admit, Sam in quite cute if you get rid of all the annoying things about him.'

I placed the project on the desk. It was a small scale model of a DNA strand. (A/n I don't no another word for it. I never really payed attention in Social Studies, you get the reference?) 

-------Time Jump To Lunch Time------

We were all sitting at the lunch table. I was sitting beside Danny (I have a crush on him, he's so chill and how could you not like Danny?)  I was eating my fries with my gravy cuz best combination since Butter and Popcorn.

We sat in silence. While the others were having small talk, or just making fun of Sam or Pete.

Ava turned to me and Danny. 

"Soo...." She gained at me, Danny looked up, as me and Ava made eye contacted. "What how is your meal Gold?"

'Why is she interested in my food? Oh.'

"You can't have my food Ava!!" I smiled and gave her the death glare. She's always asking for some of my food and I hate it.

Suddenly all of our watches/Shield communicators buzzed. We all got up put our food away and headed to the detention room. No one was in there. We all sat down in a chair and the chairs drooped, and down to the ship. I touch my necklace (the color changed from teal to green) and my clothes change to my Hero costume. 

I fly along side Nova, with a golden aura around me.

The others, Spidey riding his Spider bike, Iron Fist, White Tiger and Power Man followed, jumping from building to building.

When we arrived to the scene we saw Batroc the Leaper stealing purses and jewelry.

Good thing he can't take off my necklace. 

"Leap...Thank You....Leap...Leap..."

"Hey Batroc... What have you been up to? I thought you were in jail?" Spidey said lamely. 

"Spiderman? Hmph, you know no jail can hold me for long." he stop leaping.

"Give back the peoples things!! And we'll save you the pain of losing....Again." I said wanting this to be over with, he's a lame villain. "I have a hair appointment and I don't to be late." 

"To...get...Huh...French braids..." Nova tried to make a joke.

Everyone, and I mean everyone look at Nova, unimpressed.

"What?" Nova asked.

"I think you should leave the joke making to Spidey Nova." Power Man said.

"Yep." I said along with White Tiger.

Iron Fist said nothing just stood there in his beautiful glory.

"z'at was z'e worst joke ever." Batroc said desisted and started to leap away.

"How about the French toast is running away!!" Nova said as he started to attack.

We all started too.

I started to form a golden rope with two hooks on each end. 

"Just stop it Nova. We already have to listen to Spider mans quips. We don't need to hear your attempts at a joke." I said throwing it at Batroc's legs, he dodged and I kept doing it.

"Okay Dragon" he finished.

The others attacked and Spider man did his jokes and me and Nova were in the fight and I stopped talking.

---------Time Jump To The End Of The Battle--------   

Batroc was tide up in webs and ropes.

Me and the team left back to Shield. It wasn't a very long battle, and we had a history test.

We all are in the same classes. Makes it easier, I think.

I sat beside Danny again.

'I should ask Danny to come and hang out over at my house today?'  

---Dannys POV---

------The School bell rings and school was over-----

I walked out of class and headed to the exit. but before I could get out of the school, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over, and it was Gold. I turned to face her. 

"Hey Danny, I was wondering..." She said nervously but she somewhat hid it.

"Yes, Gold." I said calmly. "What's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at my house?" I could see a little red appear in her cheeks. "We could watch a movie?"

"Of course. Sounds fun." I said with a smile.

She burst up in happiness and her smile grew wider. 

"We can head over to my Apartment." She jumped in joy. 

"Ok."

She opened the doors and rain fell upon the streets and grass. 

I stand there quietly smiling.

"ha, not a problemo." Gold grabbed her backpack and opened it a crack. She put her hand into the crack, she closed her eyes and she looked like she was thinking. I saw a little Gold light come out of the bag.

When she was done she pulled an umbrella out of her bag, she closed her bag and places it on her back once more.

She unvelcroed it and pressed the button and opened it. It hand my golden Dragon symbol on it and green covered the rest of the umbrella. 

"Nice Umbrella," I smiled at her.

"Thanks." Gold smirked at me.

We then left the school and we both were under the umbrella. I followed her.
