Zane carried the ninja into the infirmary where Lloyd was reading a book and drinking beer.
"Something has happened" said Zane
" it would be a boring day if nothing happened " said Wu coming in "what happened? The usual? Ninjago is under attack?"
" No" said Zane "the ninja are asleep!"
" Wake them up and make them train then" said Wu
"I think that it's magic" said Zane "I jumped on Cole numerous times and he didn't wake up"
"He sleeps like a rock" said Lloyd "try jumping on Kai"
Zane left the room to jump on Kai. He highly doubted that it would work and it didn't. So he carried them to their bedrooms and proceeded to check what was wrong.
The next day
Sensei hit the gong and Zane and Lloyd came as soon as possible. The others stayed asleep. He came in to check why (and how) the gong haddent woken them up.
When he entered he saw Cole,Kai,Nya and Dawn still asleep. He walked over to Cole and hit him with his staff getting no response. He did Dawn and Nya too but when he came over to Kai he was surprised.
He was wearing purple and his hair was ginger and spiky. His mouth was like Jays but the eyebrows were like Kais.

"Ah" said Wu "they have combined"
"How did it happen?" Asked Lloyd
" There are 5 ways to become combined " said Wu "it could have been any of them"
"Do you have absolutely no idea?" Asked Zane
"No" said Wu "but you could look in the libary."
Zane went to look in the Library. It was a new part of the destinies bounty which used to be Wu's secret chocolate stash. One night Cole had seen Wu sneaking away and had followed him in case something was wrong. He had found Wu eating chocolate and Wu knew he would never have another moments peace there.
Zane started to read the book of bizarre occurrences. It had all the strange things that could happen to people. He went to the contents and saw a list of what was in the book
Becoming your brother. Becoming a baby Becoming a girl Becoming a boy Becoming a ghost Becoming a spider Losing your hair Losing your power Losing your clothes at random occasions Losing your voice Losing your self-control E.t.c.
Zane read the entire list and there was nothing about being combined with your friend. He chose the closest there was (combining with your reverse) and read the entire chapter.
After reading for an hour on how everyone has a parallel soul and how they could suddenly become the same he found out nothing as Kais parallel soul was a girl called Kate and Jays was Wu.
He went to check on everyone else. They were all still asleep. But they looked different. Like they were properly asleep. In case this was true Zane Jumped on Nya.
"Ow!" She yelled Jumping out of bed " what was that for! "
Wu and Lloyd ran in at once and saw Nya awake.
"We must jump on them all" said Wu "Zane do Cole, Lloyd do Dawn and Nya do kai and Jay"
They all jumped and kai and Jay woke up. Cole and Dawn were ghosts so they jumped right through them.
"Ow!" Said Kai/ Jay "What was that for?"
Kai/Jay looked down at themselves and realised what was wrong
"I have spiky hair!" Shouted Kai/ Jay
"You have somehow become the same person" said Wu " go get used to it" they left the room.
"Awesome" said Kai/ Jay "this is too cool"
Dawn woke up and saw kai/Jay
"Who are you?" She asked
" You know me" said Kai/Jay "I'm Kai. No I'm not. I'm Jay. Kai. Jay. Kai. Jay. Let's be Kay."
This completely confused Dawn and she left the room immediately.
