The destinies bounty

Lloyd, Nya and Zane came back the next day having not found Cole. Zane proposed that they should not reappear before Wu until they found Cole. So they went for a rest before going out again the next day.

Kay saw them heading away and decided to follow them. But when he stood up he got a headache like his brain was splitting in two so he got back down again.

Vandra

Cole came into Amelia's kitchen to see her drinking tea.

"Excuse me" said Cole "can I please have some bread as the soup hurts my mouth"

Amelia looked at him.

"I want to know how long you will be staying" she said

"Until they find the murder" Cole said after a while

" Which they will not" said Amelia

"What makes you think that?" Asked Cole

"You are the murderer" said Amelia " you are always looking guilty "

Cole was speechless. How did she know?

"Get out now" said Amelia "and you may not have your 'sister'"

"But..."

" No buts. " she said "get out!"

" Not without her! " shouted Cole

Amelia threw her tea at Cole and made a direct hit on his chest. The tea cup went through him and smashed against the wall. Cole looked down to see a red stain spreading across his front.

Amelia also looked horrified at what she had done and ran over.

"Is there anything I can do?" She asked

"Get the ghost medicine from the room" croaked Cole

Amelia ran up the stairs to the room and found the medicine lying on the floor. She ran back down holding the medicine.

She immediately pushed it onto the injury and Cole cried out in pain.

"What did I do?" She said

" sprinkle it on" gasped Cole "don't....press..."

She started to sprinkle the dust on slowly as Cole lost consciousness. She put on the amount the kit said to put on then waited for him to wake up.

The door rang and she went over to have a look. It was the police. Amelia knew that if they came in they would find two unconscious ghosts so she chose not to answer to the door.

"Must be out" said the police man "move on"

They went round to the next house and Amelia needed to move Cole out of the kitchen so she dragged him upstairs. She put him on the floor in the room and went to tidy up the mess.

Kay and Wu were watching the news, and there was more information about the murder.

"I drove him out to Vandra" a taxi driver was saying "he threatened to kill me!"

Kay and Wu shared a glance then went to call the others.
