"She is our key to get what we want."

Hongjoong pov

I was reading through yet another book, but this one was not like the others. This one spoke of something different. As my eyes scanned through the book reading every word, a particular paragraph caught my attention.

"The Aurora?" I furrowed my brows. As I read further, I absorbed more useful information. "The Aurora, the powerful being that was described in ancient text."

The Aurora, a being more powerful than both angels and demons. I said to myself as I read further.

"Hongjoong, whatcha reading?" Seonghwa questioned walking over to me.

"I found this book when I was looking through the library and I was reading a paragraph that spoke about us, and it spoke out about The Aurora."

________

5 hours ago. (When Yura was unconscious)

As Hongjoong and the other members gathered around the girl that was seated on her chair, they stared at her intensely. No one dared to speak a word, they just examined the girl. They couldn't believe that such an innocent, clueless girl, was assumed to be the last half breed alive.

Mingi and Yeosang kept nudging Seonghwa, questioning the older male, if they were sure that she was the one.

"We'll interrogate her when she's awake." Hongjoong uttered as they all exited the room.

Hongjoong pov

Seonghwa came into the room with me and took her tray and side eyed me a little, giving me a 'take-it-easy' look. I nodded as he set off.

"Did you enjoy the food?" I asked starting up a simple conversation as i looked at her but she didn't acknowledge my presence as her eyes wandered around the room. I cleared my throat a little loudly so that I could get her attention and her head snapped towards me.

"Did you enjoy the food?" I questioned once more and she gulped slowly as she nodded her head. "That's good, Seonghwa's cooking is the best I've had." I spoke up lifting my chair to sit infront of her.

"You're very quiet aren't you ?" I said tilting my head a little. "Yes" she muttered softly. "You don't have to be afraid you know. I'm not going to harm you." I spoke softly as she looked at me.

"Why did you take me?" She questioned with plead and sadness on her eyes. "I–do you know who you are?" I asked and her facial expression changed immediately. "What do you mean?" She added.

I can't believe it, it's either she doesn't know, or she's hiding it.

"Half breed, does that name sound familiar?" I questioned propping my chin on my palms, my elbows propping up on my knees.

She shook her head. "Really?" I asked again and she shook her head once more. "I answered your questions" she started as she gulped, "Why did you take me?"she asked once again.

I sighed as stretched my limbs getting off the chair,"that's none of your concern" I said as I exited the room.

______

That Half breed, it's either she doesn't know or she doesn't want us to know.

I know that she wouldn't open up to us easily, but she's very good. Acting out sadness and plead, trying to make us feel sorry for her.

What a pity.

Guys, I'm sorry that my chapters are short but I promise they'll get longer.
