See this is one of those moments where I just want no distractions.
No interruptions, Nothing to lure me away from the moment.
Just calm, peaceful, tranquility.
Yeah I don't know what that last word really means but I know it's relevant.

It's not My fault that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to literacy.
I mean I guess I'm more of a maths guy, but meh it's not like that will ever go to good use.
I'll probably be a cashier when I grow up.
Watching people I've known since high school Pop in and out and just glance at me with that look of pity......
Well it's either pity or mockery, don't know which one I'd prefer.

It won't be a surprise to them though seeing as I'm literally just a quarter-back.
It seems like a big deal now but that little title don't mean shit.
Popularity, chicks, parties.
Who's gonna remember that shit in 10 years.
I've got no future and that's a fact.
But see it's one of the things I never find myself crying about.

I sigh into Kevin's neck holding him closer.
This is one of the things I want so desperately in life, someone to be there for me.

He thinks for a moment until answering my random question.

"I think happiness is what you make it, you create your own idea and live by it."
Hm yeah I knew he was a smart ass.

"What?" He asks turning to look at me.

He seems to hesitate for a moment until giving in.

I laugh as I easily find his Instagram which by the way isn't as dry as I thought it would be.
I thought he'd have like 20 nerds following him and posts about weird science quotes.

But no, me being me was well off from the actual reality.
He has 600 followers which isn't too bad, not unpopular or average either kinda like you can tell he's liked but not by every crowd.
Then he has some of those selfies that girls take.
You know, the ones that usually end up consuming their whole day just for a few insta pics.
It's funny how gay guys and chicks make their socials so neat.

Kevin seems to shrink at the presence of my shitty dad.
I just close the door on him and smirk.
