Chapter 5

Savanna’s P.O.V.

I woke up in my bedroom the next morning. Wierd all I remember is getting tired in the attic and... I fell asleep on Eddie’s shoulder. How embarrassing?Great now I have to see him...now that he knows about the mark i’m getting a feeling that he’s going to be over protective over nothing. Plus were not even dating...I think him and Patricia are. Wait...they broke up a month ago. No wonder why she hates me.

“Hey, you okay? You’ve been staring off into space for 5 minutes now.” A all too familiar voice says. I look up and see Eddie. “Ya, i’m fine. Just thinking.” I tell him sitting up. “So what are you doing here?” I ask him. ‘Well, Trudy said I could wake you up and two you're school uniform’s ready for tomorrow.” I nod and stand up.

“So what are you going to do about the mark?” He asks me. “The school uniform should cover it up and on weekends I’ll figure something out.” I tell him. I kick him out of the room and get dressed into a white tanktop and put an prismo jacket over my shoulders and jean capris. I put on my moon necklace and put in prismo and yellow earrings with prismo flats. I put my hair in a ponytail leaving out the front bangs part. I curled the bangs and put everything away.

I walk downstairs and see Eddie cooking something. Fabian walks right next to me and stops. “Eddie’s cooking? Did he go in overprotective mode because it seems like he did. Savanna what has he done so far?” Fabian asks me.

“Well, he woke me up, I kicked him out of the room. I come down here and see him cooking. What i’m wondering is if he’s feeling okay.” I tell Fabian. “Me too. Here go ask him.” Fabian says. “Wait, did you guys find anything?” I ask him. “No.” I sigh and walk over to him. “What are you doing?” I ask him. He jumps and see’s it’s just me.

“Savvy don’t do that.” He basically yells. “Savvy?” I ask him. I see Fabian in the Dining room eating raise and eyebrow. “Yeah, i’m calling you Savvy now by the way.” He tells me flipping a pancake. Chocolate pancake.

“Okay? I’m going to go eat.” I tell him walking over to the table and eating breakfast. When I was almost done someone plops a plate on chocolate pancakes in my face. I see Eddie sitting right next to me with a plate of his own. “Thanks.” I tell him.

After eating and laughing, we went with Fabian, Nina, and Amber to the Crypt to look through books to see if they have anything about the mark in them.  

After a hour of searching I found a page in my book that read “Whoever has held the TouchStone will be killed if when the Pyramid Of Ra is built and a sacrifice isn’t made. If the Touchstone is held by Isis’s descendant they will earn burn marks and the mark of Ra will be on their arm. The Descendant of Ra will be sent to have the Pyramid of Ra built. If sacrifice isn’t made as before the ones who have held the touchstone will die and Ra’s ashes will scatter the world until it is no more a world of life.”

‘I’m Isis’s descendant? That means....’ I keep flipping through the pages of the book until I found a page titled The Osirian and Isis’s Descendant. I took a deep breath and read what it said. “The descendant of Osiris and Isis are meant to be together.” I read through the whole page.

‘Oh my....Eddie and me are basically soul mates. Wha-’ I was interrupted by Nina who saw the look on my face. “Did you find something Savanna?” She asks me, bringing everyone's attention to me.

“Ya, I found some information about the Touchstone.” I tell them. They all gave me looks to continue. “It says quote ‘Everybody who touched the touchstone will be killed if the Pyramid of Ra isn’t built by a certain time, and a sacrifice has to be made when it’s made or else Ra will rain down his ashes. In other words destroy the world for good.’.” I finished. Everyone gulped.

“That still doesn't explain the mark though...”Amber trails off. Eddie looks me in the eye. “Anything else?” He asks me and I shake my head ‘no’. Nina eyes go wide at her book. “What’d you find?” I ask her.

“It says that the four parts of the Pyramid of Ra were built in the foundation of Anubis House. Meaning we can’t get them without collapsing the house.” She tells us. “So...when’s the deadline?” Amber asks us.

After that Fabian, Nina, and Amber went to the Libary to gather more information on the deadline and facts on how to get the touchstones.

I sigh and get up. “Savvy there’s something you're not telling us. What’d you find on the mark?” Eddie confronts asks me.
