*March 9th*
*Arabelle POV*"Alright here we are." Harry said as we pulled into the driveway of my family home.
He wore a brace face but I could tell that he was nervous from the multiple times he ran his hands over his jeans because of his sweaty palms. When we were getting ready for the dinner earlier he kept on stressing about his outfit, which he never does. It kind of irritated me when he shot down every suggestion I made, but I knew he just wants to make a good first impression.
Even though it doesn't seem like it, I know he cares about somethings that someone of his... occupation, usually wouldn't, this being one of them. I know he's doing it because he loves me, he wants my family to approve of who I'm with, and I love him even more for it.
I saw him out of the corner of my eyes running his palms against his jeans again, the corner of his lip in between his teeth as he eyed my house. His curls were a mess atop of his head from running his hands through it.
"Babe." I grabbed his hand as he turned to me with wide eyes. "It's going to be fine, there going to love you." I assured him, for the a hundredth time.
"Are you sure?" He rasped, clearing his throat after.
I laughed at how nervous he was, finding it extremely cute when he pouted at me. I unbuckled my seatbelt and leaned over the center console, kissing him gently to calm his nerves. It seemed to work a little because as we pulled back he didn't look as panicked.
"A hundred percent." I told him with a smile.
He swallowed thickly, his Adam's apple bobbing, and opened his car door, climbing out. He came over to my side and opened the door for me, closing it after I was out. I gave him one more big smile before intertwining our fingers together. I began to walk up the the porch, pulling him behind me as we walked up the steps. I looked over to him to make sure he was ok before ringing the doorbell. Harry put on a stoic expression as the door opened, my dad standing there with a wide smile.
"Ara!" He beamed, pulling me into a hug.
I released Harry's hand for a moment as I wrapped my arms around him, closing my eyes as I leaned my head on his shoulder. We parted after a few seconds, my hand immediately finding Harry's again.
A smile stayed on my dads face as he looked over towards Harry, making him stiffen beside me. I watched anxiously as my dad looked down at our hands, his smile only growing. I heard Harry let out a quiet breath of relief as he realized my dad wasn't screaming at him.
"You must be her boyfriend." My dad said as he offered his hand to Harry.
Harry nodded curtly, giving him a small, one dimpled smile as he shook his hand with his free one.
"Harry. Nice to meet you." He said lowly.
"Nice to meet you to." Dad said as he opened the door more. "Well come in! I already have dinner ready, everyone else is at the table."
We stepped inside the house, making sure to take off our shoes and coat before following my dad into the dining room. Harry was looking around the house as we walked through, taking in his surroundings. I held my breath as we walked into the dining room, just now realizing that Sabrina will be there too. I just hope she doesn't try anything.
Brady and Sabrinas heads shot up as we walked into the room. Sabrina did a double take at my appearance before staring at Harry, more specifically our hands.
"Ara!" Brady yelled, scrambling out of his seat and running towards me.
I crouched down right before he reached me, him jumping into my arms.
"Hey bud!" I exclaimed, smiling at him.
I could feel Harry watching us and I looked up to see him staring at us with a fond smile. Brady followed my movements and looked up at Harry.
"Is this your boyfriend?" He asked as he turned towards me, pointing at Harry.
"Yup." I chirped, pulling Harry down so he was crouching like me. "This is Harry."
Harry smiled brightly at Brady, both of his dimples showing as Brady just stared at him curiously.
"I like your piercing." Brady stated in awe.
I almost cooed as Brady brought his tiny finger up to Harry's face, poking his snakebites. Harry laughed fondly as Brady pulled his hand away, a shy look on his face.
"Thanks bud. I like your shirt." Harry pointed at his dinosaur t-shirt.
Brady's eyes lit up immediately, a huge smile on his face as he looked down at his shirt, then back at Harry.
"Really?" He gasped, his smile growing bigger as Harry nodded.
"Ok as cute as that was, we should eat before the dinner gets cold." My dad interrupted.
We were all seated at the table, Brady on my left since he begged me to sit next to him, saying how he saved a spot just for me. Harry was on my right with Sabrina and dad right across from us.
I was listening to Brady talk about school and his friends, but I still payed attention to Sabrina flirting with Harry. Since Brady was talking to me she decided it was the perfect opportunity to talk to Harry, more like undress him with his eyes.
"Harry your so funny." I heard her laugh, reaching over the table to touch his arm.
My hand tightened around the fork I was holding, my knuckles turning white as I listened to Brady's rambling. I looked over to my dad who gave me a sympathetic look before shooting a glare at Sabrina, but she ignored him. I could tell Harry was slightly uncomfortable from the way he shifted in his seat every time she touched him.
"Well, Harry and I are finished so I'm going to show him my room." She chirped as she got up from her seat, pulling Harry from his.
I ignored the warning glance my father sent me and slammed my utensils on the table, the loud bang making everyone jump.
"Listen here b*tch."
