I thought that I've been hurt before
But no one's ever left me quite this sore

It was excruciatingly painful to watch.

His cool hands caressing her cheek, making her squeal from the ice-cold touch. He placed gentle kisses on her skin, and snaked his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"He's going to get tired of you."

"He's cheating on you."

"You are such a fool to think he actually loves you."

You sank down to the hard concrete floor, tears streaking down your flushed cheeks.

All the accusations, all the rumors. They were true.

Your heart pounded; your head throbbed.

You desperately wanted to scream out in agony; the pain you felt in your chest was as if you had been pierced by a sword. It was as if the two years of your life, the time you spent with him, had been sucked right out of you.

And it left a horrible scar right on your beating organ.

Your words cut deeper than a knife
Now I need someone to breathe me back to life

"[Name]-chan!"

You avoided him like the plague; you didn't have the guts to confront him, or talk to him.

"Are you ignoring me, [Name]-chan?"

Tears threatened to fall from your [e/c] eyes, "Leave me alone." You muttered, your jaw clenching together.

"[Name], are you feeling alright?"

You stopped walking, and balled your hands up into fists. Your body started to tremble, "I told you, leave me alone."

"[Name]-chan..."

He put his hand on your shoulder, making you flinch upon contact.

"Please, don't talk to me." You whispered, shrugging his palm off of your shoulder.

He stood there in shock, and watched you walk away from him.

"You found out, didn't you?" He asked under his breath, his lips starting to quiver.

Got a feeling that I'm going under
But I know that I'll make it out alive

You reached out for an object on your nightstand, and observed it.

"What did I do to deserve this?" You sighed.

You rubbed your thumb on the translucent surface, smudging the glass with the oils on your fingerprints.

"I thought you were the one."

Tears blurred your vision, stinging your eyes with it's salty water.

"I guess I was wrong."

You took one last look at the photo of the two of you, and threw the picture frame against your wall, causing the loud crash to echo through your room.

You couldn't take it anymore. The pain he seared you with was worsening with each passing second. He was like a toxin in your system, destroying your body from the inside out, and you desperately needed to detox him out of you. Even if it would cause more damage to your heart.

Taking your phone out of your pocket, you quickly tapped away a text to him and hit the send button.

Meet me at the park in 30 minutes.

If I quit calling you my lover
Move on

As you approached the park, you saw him sitting on a public bench, his hands buried in his jacket pockets.

You let out a heavy sigh, and mustered up all the courage you could collect. With a heavy heart, you marched straight over to your, soon-to-be, former lover.

"Oikawa." Your voice spoke out in a whisper.

He didn't look up at you, his eyes were still focused on the ground beneath him. "I know why you called me here." He mumbled.

"Then you know what comes next."

He slowly lifted his head up, tears gliding down from his chocolate-colored eyes. "P-please, don't." He begged.

You frowned, your eyebrows burrowing together. "Why are you crying?" You asked, "You are the one who cheated."

"I-I--"

"Did you know how I felt when I saw you with her?"

"N-no.."

"Well, it felt like hell."

He looked at you in terror, "I'm truly sorry." He sighed, and grabbed your arm. "Please, forgive me. I-I don't want to lose you."

"You already lost me." You said under your breath, "You lost me when you committed second-degree murder on my heart."

His eyes widened, "[Name].."

"Don't call me that," You scolded, "It's not like we are dating anymore, Oikawa."

"W-what?"

"It's time we live our lives, separate."

You turned your heel and walked away, each step you took, tore your heart even more.

You watch me bleed until I can't breathe
I'm shaking falling onto my knees
And now that I'm without your kisses

He sat there, his eyes still widened with shock.

"How could I be so stupid?"

His body started to tremble, he wanted to scream out. His heart couldn't take the pain your harsh words caused him to feel.

He tried to stand up, but his knees quickly gave out, and he plummeted onto the hard concrete.

"[Name]!" He cried out, resulting in him getting odd looks at people around him.

Past memories flooded his mind -- memories that were spent with you. The smiles you sent him, the kisses you placed on his skin, the time you spent with him.

The devotion you gave him.

And all he did was betray your trust, and his relationship with you.

He left you with a broken heart, and his was torn beyond repair.

I'll be needing stitches
