A sea of bodies.
A wall of people.
The boy in the spotlight.
And the girl standing at the back.

For her, even looking from the corner of the crowd felt uncomfortable. The chaos of gathering people seemed like a slowly stirring storm.
It would be impossible for her to even look at Oikawa in the eye, much less break through the crowds and talk to him.
If only she could find the confidence to meet his eye.
If she could find the right words to talk to him.
If only she wasn't so painful shy.
Instead, she was the one in the shadows, the one destined to fall in love with the one that could never be hers.
He was the sun, and she was a small, invisible star among the sea of stars. To him, she was only one girl like the millions of other out there. But to her, he was everything.
The light among the shadow.
She could love him, but he could never love her back. She could watch him from afar, they could never to meet, for they were too different.
They were worlds apart.
And yet, standing there, he felt so close... and yet so far away.
Blinking away tears, she stared at the ground in front of her.
How stupid.
How pathetic.
She knew her feelings could never be reciprocated.
Silently, the girl walked away.
Little did she know that a pair of chocolate eyes was looking at her retreating form.
In those eyes, there were unmeasurable amounts of regret.
