"Ok, so what's our plan?" Noah said to both me and Scott.

".....The plan?..." I said clearly looking dumbfounded that I didn't even think of what would happen when we get here.

"umm, yeah.....y'know, we cant just knock on the door, what's our story, what's gonna actually make them come with us without asking any questions?"

I and Scott just sat there.

"OH C'MON GUYS"

"Ey keeps your voice down before they come outside," Scott said lightly hitting Noah.

" so you're seriously telling me, you have no plan......like what-so-ever?"

"well when you say it like that, it makes me feel like I should have one," I said trying to sell the idea that we don't need one, but in fact we do.

Noah was going to say something, but instead, just pinched the top of his nose, like when moms are showing their disappointed.

"Dude, don't worry. I was going to tell them I wanna take them to my house to stay the night since it's their birthday an all. IF they say no I'll pull the mom card"

" What the hell is a mom card?" Scott said with visible confusion.

" It's where I say my mom missed you and feels like you don't see her anymore, so she went all out for dinner. SO if you don't come your basically saying you don't like her" I gladly informed them. "any objections?"

" I mean its the best we got so far" Scott said while just giving up on even think there should be a plan.

We went to the front door and knocked a few times. I think after like 5 times, I heard footsteps, kinda sounded like Alex's, but lighter.

"who is it?" The feminine voice said to us.

" it's Luca, and a couple of Ralph's friends, we were hoping to get them out a little bit for their birthday".

The door opened. It was their mom.

"Hi sweethearts, I'm Ms. Sully" She held her hand out for us to sake.

" hi ma'am, is Alex and Ralph here?"

" yes they are, let me get them for you. Oh please come in" she said while grabbing my hand, directing me to the living room. When her skin hit mine, she shivered and look terrified for a moment. I wouldve missed it if I wasn't staring at her the whole time. It was like she was trying to hide her reaction.

"Please take a seat, help yourself to anything in the kitchen" she said with the sweetest smile.

So, I know that we were supposed to grab them and go, which was what we were going to do. However, their mom didn't really get the memo. At least thats what I'm assuming because we spent 10 minutes just sitting there, waiting for them to come down. At that point we had like a good 15 minutes before we had to head to the party. So me being the ring leader of this group, I knew that it was my responsibilty to look for Ms. Sully and ask if we can just go upstairs and get them.

I went through the sub-hallway of the house, since it was the closest to the kitchen, and all I saw was laundry stuff, and cleaning supplies. Then, I went back to the entrace hallway and turned to the right, instead of going left towards the kitchen. This was where the bathrooms are, and for some reason, there was a closet. But not like a normal cloest, something about it felt off, like it was messing with me. I started to feel a little sick, and scared so I just bolted from that hallway. I went up the stairs this time, so I won't have to be on the same floor as the creepy closet. I couldnt even sense the mom anywhere upstairs, so I was heading back down.
