Liara's Wolf woke her up with a loud whine. The smell of Blue was nearby, and her Wolf let her know it. The rich smell of blood and silver came with him. Before she could get up there was a knock on her door. She raced to open the door for Blue, knowing it was him. Mika rolled on his side still half asleep.Blue wore only jeans, he was sweaty, his face was red and blood was streaked across his chest.
"Oh my God what happened?" She asked snatching him by the arm and immediately checking him for wounds, still naked as the day she was born. She touched his chest and felt nothing, she scanned his arms and back. He was fine, yet there was blood all over him.
Gently he put his hand on hers, calming her as Mika slowly rose from her bed, "Charlie was hurt, he's in the next room. Dr. Rhodes patched him up but the silver it's...still spreading. The meds are taking too long to work." His eyes were filled with anxiety and his heart was pounding out of his chest.
"Why is he here instead of a Hospital "
"My Alpha is hardheaded."
"Let's go." She said grabbing Mika's shirt from the floor and slipping on a pair of her shorts he had tossed across the room.
Without thought she kissed Mika before rushing out the door waking him. The kiss susrpised Blue, but she hadn't even noticed what she had done. Liara was more concerned about the injured man, down the hall. She wasn't sure if she could heal him like she did with Simona but it was worth a try.
Blue walked to the last door next to Simona's room and pushed the door open. Caleb stood in the corner pouring a glass of water for his brother.
Sporting two black eyes Charlie winced as he scratched at the bandages in his left side. "Hello Liara. Blue you really didn't have to call her. The meds will kick in soon."
"Look at yourself. The silver is getting into your blood stream. If it gets to your heart- "
"I know...She's just a pup. She shouldn't be healing anyone." Charlie smirked then immediately cried out when he felt the silver in his side burn through a new layer of skin.
Liara rolled her eyes at the dark hair man, "Don't talk about me like I'm not standing here. "
Charlie grinned, "Pardon me madam." With his fakest of high society accents.
"Oh so my first assumption was right, you're an asshole. Great." She shrugged.
He chuckled shaking his head, "No, no, no. Don't believe the lies. I'm a gentle little sweetheart. Always." He finished with a wink.
"Liara, don't mind him. He's high as a kite on meds." Caleb cut in handing his estranged brother some water, but Charlie instantly rejected it.
Blue pulled the knife from his pocket, and placed it in her hand. "This is his normal behavior, the meds just make him laugh more. They add a bit of cheer to his rude comments."
Charlie chuckles again, "I hear you've come to heal me. You can't do it standing all the way over there, come closer Liara." His voice was low and seductive, she could feel a warm feeling surround her body and invisible hands pulling her closer to him. Small black veins Rose to the surface around his brown eyes.
"Stop it." Blue warned.
But Liara found herself being slowly pulled Her Wolf was moving her body like a puppet, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. She brought the knife up and mindlessly sliced the side of her hand.
Charlie stared at her like a predator, his mouth watering from the scent of a woman in heat. Licking his lips he took her hand and brought it to his lips. He lapped across her hand, her blood painting his tongue a dark crimson. Slowly he closed his lips around the wound and began to drink.
