At a steady pace Mika did 5 sets of pushups, trying to keep his mind off of the raging erection in his sweatpants. The smell of Liara and Blue were all over the bedroom and though he had bathed, he could still smell them on his skin. His wolf was scratching at his mental walls and driving him mad.

He needed Liara. He craved her touch, along with someone else's. Her embrace might be enough to calm his beast and his own cravings. But being with only one mate had left him feeling incomplete and Blue was the only thing that would make him feel whole. He hungered for them both.

. . . .

Liara cleaned off her plate, helped the others put the food away. Everyone was polite and made small talk, but none really trusted her and kept a safe distance. She found herself staying quite distant as well, but more so from the Wolf watching her every move.

Blue was staying busy talking with others, organizing supply runs and delegating work to those handy with power tools, but all the while keeping a watchful eye over Liara.

By Liara's guess there were 30 or so Elsefire's living in the temple. Another 10 were living by the lake among everyday people camping and enjoying the fishing holes and park. They had everything running like a well oiled machine. The cave had electricity that was powered by the cabins, park range and recreational center by the lake. They had running water and she even heard them say there was full sections of the temple dedicated to agricultural work. It was impressive. They had their own underground world.

The Elsefire's weren't the people that she expected them to be, they were fathers, mother's children and lost souls who had found a home. All of them had come from broken homes, packs that were destroyed by Hunters and those born inflicted with the Wolf gene. Those who had been accidentally infected and we're forced to leave their everyday lives behind.

Charlie and Blue had found them all. Kept them safe, giving them a sense of family. They traveled across the country, searched for more like themselves with no name, no pack, alone. When they grew weary of traveling Charlie had brought them there within the Honey Hills and this is where they had remained hidden. Fighting Hunter's with children to protect was not ideal and Honeybee gave them the safety they desperately needed. Lone Wolves didn't last long alone in the world. Hunters always found them.

The people looked to Blue like he was a leader, he was treated with great respect. The unmated females circled him and tried to imprint their scent on him. They hoped to catch his attention and conjure emotion from his wolf. Which shouldn't have bothered Liara but it did. He wasn't hers to claim, but her Wolf hadn't gotten the memo.

She watched a young blonde in her mid twenties, smile and giggle at his every word. She continuously watched Blue. She touched his arm when they spoke, she playfully twirled her finger around her hair. Made sure that her large breasts were on display for him. Liara could smell a spike in her arousal whenever he looked at her.

She didn't like it. Not one bit. But Blue wasn't hers. But she had no right to step in.

Seeing Blue taking care of his people made her look at him in a whole new light. But watching him play with the young children made her weak, she always dreamed of children and a big family one day... Until one doctor's visit ended all her dreams...

Mika entered the dining hall reluctantly, it was obvious he was looking for her. Though he had been distracted with his people Blue felt Mika enter. He slowly walked over to him. Liara watched the two awkwardly speak to one another. And it only took a few minutes before Mika was shaking his head, clenching his jaw and storming off.

She was not in the mood for the drama, it was time for her to get out of there before she got roped into an argument with either one of them. Before she could leave Caleb grabbed her, "Have you seen Simona? She's not answering her phone."
