Mahoutokoro School of Magic

The corridors of Mahoutokoro School of Magic were as silent as ever but not because of the lack of people. Waves of light pinks ropes dashed trough the halls with a few gold ones, so suddenly one of the ropes starts turning white. All eyes turn to the white ropes of the eleven-year-old Hoshimi, all surprised with color changing in her ropes. 

HOSHIMI: (stunned) I didn't do anything! It must have been some seventh year. I would never do something so atrocious, not even in my worst nightmares!

Obviously no one believed her. The magical ropes of Mahoutokoro School of Magic never lie, she had used Dark Magic and there ways nothing she could say that would change that.

The scenario changes, the large desk in the center of the room is unmistakable. It is filed with things from all around the world the headmaster sat on her chair tall and proud.

HEADMASTER: As you might already know, Miss Yoshida, the ropes of this prestigious establishment are special. they change color in certain circumstances, for example gold for students that have exceptional grading or white for those who have used dark magic. As you might have noticed your ropes have turned white, which is an undeniable fact leading to the notion that you have used dark magic. 

HOSHIMI: (with a tone of desperation) I'm innocent

HEADMASTER: Silence! This kind of mischief making is not accepted here in Mahoutokoro School of Magic. You shall be expelled, Hoshimi Yoshida.

HOSHIMI: But I did nothing. I was just...

She is interrupted by a simple wave of the headmaster's hand, Hoshimi without a second thought lowered her head and left the room, full knowingly that she would never go back to Mahoutokoro School of Magic. 

She flew home with the help of a giant petrel. Her house was silent since no one had already arrived home, she was the first of the day. Hoshimi trowed her body against the door, her face got red almost as if she would start to cry but her pride wouldn't let that happen.

So she gets up on her own. Stands up for herself and rides back to Mahoutokoro School of Magic, it isn't a long flight but this time it seemed like an eternity.

HOSHIMI:  I will not give up in this school! I will not except the fact I was expelled! I will fight it, I will not stand down and roll over like I'm a little pup!

She gets back to school. She runs through the empty halls directly to the headmasters office, in the large table sat still the headmaster which acts surprised as Hoshimi barges in. 

HOSHIMI: (speaking with enfaseis and loudly)I will not stand by while you expel me for no other reason that my ropes suddenly turned white. I did not use dark magic and never will. I strongly require that you except me back at Mahoutokoro!

HEADMASTER: The fact that your ropes turned white is prove enough that you have used dark magic and broken the law, therefore getting yourself expelled. I won't take it back! You broke the roles, now you must face the consequences!

HOSHIMI: Even if I did nothing, even if I am innocent. I have dozens of witnesses every single one saw that I wasn't doing anything, I was just walking, nothing more. It just happen! My ropes suddenly turned white, it might have been a seventh year messing around or something similar. You can't expel someone with no grounding whatsoever!

HEADMASTER: Miss Yoshida, if you are doing this because you think you can change my mind, stop, I will not except you back into this school. You have been expelled, so if I were you I would start thinking what school I would attend because you, Hoshimi Yoshida, won't come back to Mahoutokoro School of Magic. Now leave, you are no longer welcome here.

Hoshimi leaves the school again, but this time it is sure that she will never return there as a student. So she flies back home in a giant petrel.

Again the house is silent but this time it is not empty. Waiting by the door are Hoshimi's parents that went home after receiving the news that their daughter had used dark magic in school at the age of eleven.

Nobody said a single word until they were inside the house.

MOTHER: How could you have done something that atrocious? And why?

HOSHIMI: I did nothing. It must have been a prank by an older student! I did nothing. I am innocent, so please stop accusing me.

FATHER: If you did nothing, why was someone teasing you?

HOSHIMI: How would I know that? For all I know it could have even been Ryuu, he has enough experience.

MOTHER: Don't speak like that about Ryuunosuke, after all he is your brother.

HOSHIMI: (whispering to herself) As if he had ever acted like an older brother to me.

MOTHER: What did you say?

HOSHIMI: Nothing to you.

FATHER: (as a warning) You better watch that tone! You are speaking to your mother.

After that Hoshimi had nothing to say, not even to herself. So she finally gave up at Mahoutokoro School of Magic and started looking forward to her next school: Castelobruxo.
