Genesis went home around 6 because her Auntie needed her for something. Tiana's mom is coming over for a talk for visitation. She thinks she's about to take Tiana away from me, but that's not gonna happen. Tiana is the one who gives me my happiness and she is your life. I'd be damned if I lose her.
The doorbell rings and you open the door. She walks in and tries to give Tiana a hug but Tiana flinches
"Why you flinch like that T?"
She hides behind your leg. I wonder what's been going on
"Go play with your toys baby"
She leaves and you look at her mom, Rein
"Why she flinch like that Rein?"
"I don't know," Rein said looking around
"What's going on in your household that I don't know about?!"
"Look, you can't get mad," she said
"WHAT THE FUCK YOU MEAN I CAN'T?! THAT'S MY DAMN CHILD TOO REIN!"
"My boyfriend has been hitting on her and makes me be mean to her," she said
"Does he hit on you too?"
"If I don't listen to him," she said sniffling in between each word
"Why ain't you tell me Rein?"
"Because it's my problem. I have to handle my own problems," she said
"You shouldn't have to go through that. You can stay here and tomorrow we can go get some of your stuff but we are strictly just co- parenting for Tiana only"
"Okay," she said nodding her head
"Ight," I say hugging her
I pull back from the hug and Tiana walks in and pulls on my leg. I pick her up
"I'm sorry that I hit you Tiana. Mommy had to do it or she would get in trouble," Rein said
"It's ok mama," Tiana said
Tiana reaches for Rein and I hand her to Rein. She hugs her and kisses her on the cheek
"I love you mommy," Tiana said
"I love you too babygirl," Rein said
"Well you can sleep in the guest room and if she wants to sleep with you she can. I got school in the morning"
"I wanna sleep with mama," Tiana said
"Ok. And drop her off at daycare please"
"Yea. I got you,"Rein said
You give Tiana a kiss on the forehead and go upstairs and get in the bed
