Chapter forty three/Just wake up!

---Meanwhile in the hospital---

_ Ana's Pov _

I didn't know what was happening, but the voices began to be heard closer and closer, I suddenly opened my eyes. I had no idea what had happened, I tried to move but I had a lot of cables and bandages around me. My parents were next to me crying, they realized that I had already woken up and called the doctor. They all started asking me too many questions, all I thought about was Joey

Ana: Everyone could shut up, my head hurts from so many questions everyone ask and none of them matter to me

Mr. Tepper: We just want to know if you're okay, you were in a coma for almost two days, we were so worried about you

Ana: Yes dad I'm fine, thanks for caring about me but please someone tell me where is Joey (she raises her voice desperate to be listened to, her eyes are full of tears trying not to flood the room)

Mrs. Tepper: Honey, I don't think it's a good idea to tell you the truth, you're very weak right now

Ana: I don't care, just tell me what happened to Joey! where is he!

Doctor S: Joey is alive, he's in intensive care, but he risks dying

-At that moment, Ana froze, turned paler than she already was, had no expression on her face, the only thing that could be seen on her face, were the tears that ran on her face without any emotion-

Mr. Tepper: She's not breathing! hey Ana look at me, everything will be fine okay?!

Ana: Nothing can be fine if Joey isn't! Please let me see him!

Doctor S: Yes you can see Joey, but first we have to see how your wound is

-The doctors checked Ana, and her wound was fine despite everything, after that they took her to the room where Joey was-

Ana: Hi Joey, I don't know if you can hear me; but I really miss you, I need you by my side, I need you to be alive. You are my happiness. And right now I feel like someone took my happiness away, my other half, the boy I love, the only boy I really fell in love with. We all need you, I need you, just wake up!

-Joey looked like he was already dead, he had too many cables connected to him, he was not moving at all, Ana took him by the hand and reached out to kiss him on the forehead, leaned on Joey's hand and she started crying like never had-

Mr. Trotta: It's so nice of you to do everything you did for Joey, you practically risked your life to save my son's life, and even though you just woke up from the coma, you're here. I'm sure Joey loves you as much as you love him

Ana: You have nothing to be thankful for, I do all this because I love Joey, and I would risk my life for him, as many times as they are, without even thinking about it

Mrs. Tepper: Ana, it's time for you to rest, you're still not well

Ana: Mom, do you think i can talk to Billy? he and my friends are still trapped with those damn terrorists

Mrs. Tepper: I don't think they let you speak directly to him

Ana: So take me to school, I have to go back

Mr. Tepper: Are you crazy? your health is not good, and you were lucky to have got out of there, you are not going back

Ana: You don't understand, I have to help them!

Mrs. Tepper: And how do you plan to help them if you're injured

Ana: I don't give a shit right now, I know how to help the cops enter to the school without anyone seeing

Mr. Tepper: Now you can only help stay here in the hospital and rest

Mrs. Tepper: The cops are taking care of everything

Ana: And see how that has worked so far (notice the sarcasm), fuck everything, those terrorists are only ruining my life
