Ch. 20

It was now February 1st and Valentines Day was right around the corner. We had the cafe decorated in Valentines decorations and had new specialty drinks and desserts. I was so excited because it would be my first Valentines with a boyfriend in 3 years. I didn't really know what I should get for Namjoon, to be fair I don't think he's one for the mushy romance stuff.

I didn't know if I should get him books, new clothes, or just get him a card. I was so conflicted but I knew if I was going to get him something it had to be soon otherwise everything would be sold out.

"Jimin-ah, I need your help." Yoongi said, coming up to the counter.

"What's up, hyung?" I asked.

He leaned against it and sighed, "For Valentines, I need help."

I raised an eyebrow, "You want me to help with Hoseok for Valentines Day?"

He grumbled, "I hate asking for help but you're the sappiest one out of the group."

"Gee thanks."

He rolled his eyes, "What should I get Hobi?"

"Well...has he hinted anything to you?" I asked, putting some cups away.

He thought for a second, "Only he wants kids but other than that I don't think so."

I softly smiled, "Maybe your gift should be that you're ready for a kid."

He just looked at me, "But I'm not..."

I sighed softly and leaned over the counter, "Why not, hyung? You guys are getting married, you have a nice place with plenty of room, you have a good job and your relationship is very strong."

"I don't...like them very much.." He mumbled.

I raised an eyebrow, "I'm sure if you had one of your own that you would feel differently."

He rubbed a hand over his face, "I just want Hoseok to be happy, you know?"

I patted his shoulder, "I know hyung, but if you change your mind there is an orphanage a few blocks over. They have babies dropped there all of the time."

He simply nodded and walked back into the floral department. I felt bad for him because I know he wants kids it's just he doesn't know how to act with them. It's like he's afraid he's gonna break the baby but I know the real reason. He didn't have a dad growing up and it was only him and his mom. Really sweet lady but he had no male guidance growing up.

Yoongi's parents divorced when he turned 2 and his mom has been single ever since. She moved in with her sister and that's where she's resided all these years. So, he's only had female attention and no male guidance.

"Jimin, can I ask you a serious question?" Jin asked, popping up next to me.

"Yeah hyung?" I replied, wiping down the counter.

"I feel like you're really the one who could answer this, but do you think I'm overdramatic?" He asked, shuffling his feet.

I just looked at him, "In what way?"

He shrugged, "Chan and I got into an argument yesterday evening and he's not talking to me..."

I frowned, "What happened, hyung?"

He sighed, "I told him that I wanted to spend time more with just the two of us. Since we got Yeonjun he's sort of been you know, neglecting my needs. I love my little baby so much but Chan has been sleeping with him every night since we got him."
