Ch. 11

It's been two weeks since I've been out of the hospital and now I'm back at the cafe. It felt really good to be back, to be honest I was going stir crazy. Namjoon and I haven't spoke once since the hospital and to be honest I don't care anymore. Sure I still love him, but it's the Christmas season so I won't let him bring my spirits down.

It was December 10th and Jin hyung's birthday was the 4th. We had a small party at his house which was a lot of fun. We played some games and ate a lot of food. I couldn't help but feel jealous though of Jin and Chen's relationship. If Namjoon hadn't totally blown up at me, I think that could be us right now.

I've seen Namjoon coming in and out of the tattoo parlor and 9/10 times he doesn't look so good. His face has this depressed and almost like his puppy died in front of him look. I didn't know why and I'm not going to ask him because it is none of my business. Still, I can't help but wonder why he looks like that. Was it because of me? Did something happen in his personal life? I don't really know.

Part of me actually wanted to ask him and comfort him, but the other part told me to stay away. Conflicting really, but if your gut feeling is telling you to stay away, it's usually best to listen. Chances are your gut feeling is right whether it's a good feeling or a bad feeling. I'm choosing to listen to my gut and keep my distance.

Business in the cafe reaches it's busiest in the summer and in the winter. Spring and fall are busy too, but not quite like this. We get a lot of children coming into the cafe around this time of year with their parents. We serve a lot of kids specialty drinks and Christmas type foods this time of year. Also, poinsettas are our best seller during this season. The whole place is playing Christmas music and it smells like peppermint and gingerbread. It's peaceful really.

We give each child a free hershey kiss with their purchase of drink or treat, it's cute to see their eyes light up at the free piece of sugar. I loved seeing all the children so excited about all of the Christmas decorations and Santa Claus. I wish Santa would come to the cafe for the little girls and boys to see him, but he doesn't go to cafe's. It's usually just shopping malls which really sucks.

"Hey Jiminie! Jiminie! Jiminie! Jiminie!!" Hosoek yelled, running into the floral shop.

I looked up from watering some poinsettas, "Why're you yelling, hyung? And you're late."

He's supposed to be here at 8 and it was currently 9:30. He just grinned at me and hugged me really tightly.

"I'm late because I had the best night of my life last night!" He exclaimed, shaking my shoulders.

"Is that why Yoongi isn't here yet either?" I asked.

"Yes because guess what!!!" He squealed, holding up his left hand, "I got engaged last night!!"

I gasped and grabbed his hand. The ring was black with purple stones wrapped around in the middle. It was truly gorgeous.
