FIRST EVENT BACK IN LA AND LUCKILY FOR SYDNEY, SOME OF THE EUPHORIA CAST HAD BEEN INVITED TOO. Sydney had missed her friends, ones she hadn't seen in months. Alexa, Maude and Barbie were the ones invited and Sydney had even forgotten she was at an event as she sat with the girls all night on the same table, drinking and laughing for hours. They'd been catching up, filling each other in on their lives and what had been happening since they had last seen each other.
"So a little birdy told me that you just filmed that new Netflix show with your ex." Barbie's voice gained the attention of Sydney after Maude had just finished telling a story about her mom and little sister.
Sydney frowned, almost choking on her drink. "Huh?" No one was supposed to know that.
"Remember when you called me, drunk, when you were in South Carolina?" Maude then spoke up making Sydney even more confused, what did that have to do with it?
"Vaguely, yes."
Maude then hesitated. "Well, you told me about you working with your ex and I kinda told the girls." She told her, bracing herself for Sydney to be mad, upset or blow up at her. But she didn't, Sydney didn't actually mind that much. It was more embarrassing than anything.
Sydney placed her elbows on the table and buried her face in her hands. "Oh my God." The three girls sitting around the blonde then begun to laugh.
"So, how was it?" Alexa asked her, still laughing as Sydney then removed her hands from her face.
"Honestly, it wasn't that bad." Sydney admitted, shrugging her shoulders. This shocked her friends, all expecting her to say how awful and awkward it was. Which it had been at first but Sydney wouldn't have changed any of it for anything.
Alexa looked at her surprised. "Really?"
Sydney nodded. "Yeah, we're actually really good friends now. It's kinda like us never even happened." She explained. And it really was, most of the time Sydney forgot her and Rudy used to be an item. Her definitely more than him.
