Luke's POV

"I'm not letting you go tonight." I hear from inside that room. I whisper, 'are they really going to...' I imagine, Sebastian and Kristine, under the bed covers...together. I shake the thought away. "Damn it...What am I doing, this is my house...I have a right to walk into one of the rooms of my house...right? Crap. Wait, what if I see something, something bad... but I can't let Kristine just ..." I lean against the door, but it wasn't closed all the way. The door opens and I fall back. I see them. Kristine and Sebastian. Sebastian, shirtless has pinned Kristine against the wall and is now holding who two legs, which are around his waist. "Luke I'm so sorry you have to see this." Kristine says, taking her hoodie off and putting it on Sebastian. "Um...wait are you too dating?" "Does dating mean that we take each other on dates?" "Uh, yeah I guess." I say.  "Oh then no, we've never even been on a date. But–" "She means yes." Interrupts Sebastian. "Luke? are you okay?" asks Kristine. "Why, Kristine... I'd treat you better than he will." "Luke, i'm–" "No, don't apologize. I- I'm not giving up. I can't lose Kristine like that. I have only known you for a day, but I believe in love at first sight... and I probably look really pathetic.. but–" "Don't mind him.." Sebastian says taking off Kristine's hoodie. He pulls her closer. "Sebastian, he's watching...stop.." "I don't care, I told you i'm not letting you go... Kristy ;)" "...Kristy?" "Yes" Sebastian turns to me... "Well, you see, it's a nickname only I can call her :)" I walk closer to him. "Is this a competition?" "No, i've already won. We can go for round two though :)." Sebastian looks back at Kristine "That goes for both of you..." He says while smirking. Kristine, flustered, "R-round two? Ahem. Okay, we are going to play this game huh?" Her expression suddenly changes. It's confident sassy, and can I say hotter? "We never even had round 1. Remember? We stopped because you were going to be late for your train. 2," She turns to me. "I'm flattered you feel this way, but I'm sorry, I'm in love with Sebastian." "No, you'll fall in love with me, you'll see." I walk out, stomping.

Sebastian's POV

Don't cry don't cry don't cry. Breath in....breath out. Okay. "Let's continue shall we? I think we can fit more than 2 round tonight." "If I let you. I don't think you're that much of a bad boy, Sebastian. You're trying a little too hard with the smirking, and the flirting." "Any other person would fall for it? :')" "Then why waste your time with me..." I kiss her, lightly. I start to break apart, but she continues. Moving into a deep french kiss. When we break away, I look at her. "You're so needy today" "I've missed you :)" I smile, and she moves closer. "Should we go on the bed?" "It's a little too soft..." "I agree, I guess we are both used to sleeping on nature's bed." "I think the floor is fine." "Yeah, me too." They lay down next to each other. Her hands are petting my hair, and my arms are around her waist. "You like petting my hair -,-" I say, smiling. "It's so fluffy!" "Fluffy?" I say. "Yeah, like a dog." "Am I a good boy?" "What?" I smirk. "If you can tell to dogs that they are good boys, what about me?" "So your Cinderella and a dog?" "I can be anything." "Except tough :)" "That's mean...you know i'm sensitive about being a cry baby." She pouts, mocking me. "Oh I'm sorrrrrry" As she continues to mock me. I lick her chin. "Um, what was that?" She asks me. "You were making fun of me." I pout. "Oh poor Cindy. How could I ever make it up to you for doing absolutely nothing." I point to my lips and pucker. She frowns. "Anything else?" "Come on, I'm waiting." She kisses me.

Later

"KRISTINE!!!!!" The two of us are resting together, with one of the blankets around us. Our clothes are in every corner of the room. She looks at the door. "Yes?" "I need help..." I roll my eyes. I get up and grab some clothes. My eyes are still barely open, from our nap. She puts them on and heads out. I grab a pair of sweatpants and put them on, not bothering with the shirt. I follow her not trusting him. He looks down at her chest.. Oh shoot. I gave her my clothes... They're so big on her. Especially the V-neck of my sweater is quite low. Too low. I can see her... "Kristine, come back in the bedroom, I'll help him." "What? Why?" "Just do it." "Okay..." She walks back into the bedroom. "What do you need?" "Uh, do you know how to cook?" "Uh. No. Why would Kristine know though... Wait is it cause she's a girl? Really?" "What? No. She knows how to cook, she told me that. She doesn't have the money for expensive ingredients, she told me she buys simple ingredients for simple meals. They do taste amazing though she tells me. I quote, "I don't like to compliment myself, but I think they taste good haha." Damn, he does a good impression of her. "Oh. Do you really know that much about her?" "Yeah, my co-worker was on duty for that ride, since I was up all night before. Do you wanna know a secret?" "Uh what..." "We didn't actually talk for the entire 5 hours." "You didn't? What did you do then?" "Well she says I fell asleep for about an hour. I woke up on her shoulder." "Her shoulder?" "Yeah, I guess I tossed my head around when I slept. She said she didn't even notice me." "Yeah, she can focus really well." "She reminds me of my mother." "Oh, How so, Luke?" "The hair, the expression. The 'I can't admit I'm having a good time so I will try my hardest not to make it seem like that.' face. I could tell she was enjoying my company on the train, Kristine I mean. She would turn her head whenever I mentioned how we barely notice each other." "Oh okay." Kristine walks back. "Welcome back." He smiles at her. I won't get mad. I won't get mad. "Yeah, thanks I mean. What did you need help with?" "I don't know how to cook." "Oh. Okay, sure." Kristine walks over to the cabinets and opens them gently. They all appear to be empty. "Um, do you have anything. Like at all?" "yeah, I just went to Canta's* and bought a whole bunch of drinks." "Um, just drinks?" "Oh...I guess I did. I walked past the sodas, and I couldn't help myself. Should we order something?" "Yeah, is that okay with you?" She says in my direction. "Oh, you're talking to me now?" I say, trying to sound annoyed "What, yeah." She says, unaware of the tone i'm making. "Yeah, that's fine. Pizza sounds good?" "How about we go out? I can show you guys around Beener in the mean time, while we walk to the restaurant." "Yeah that sounds okay. Sebastian put on a shirt though." She says, smiling. "No, I'm just going to walk outside shirtless." I say smiling. She laughs and comes with me back to the bedroom. "We'll get ready :)" "Together?" Luke asks. I smirk, grabbing her hand, and interlocking fingers. I wave my our hands in the air in his direction then pull her into the bedroom. Just before I close the door, I look at him and say, "Of course." I shut the door. "How did you mess that up with the clothes.?" She says, smiling. "I don't know, I grabbed the first thing in the corner. To cover you fast." "Yeah, I was so startled. I thought he like killed somebody or something." "Why would he need your help with that though." "Who knows?" She says looking through my suitcase. "Does this shirt work?" I stole a lot of those clothes, but since I had some clothes from my brother when we lived together, I have a pretty nice collection. When I left the orphanage. I took so much in that suitcase, I barely could carry it. She hands me the black polo shirt. I ask Kristine to often chose what I wear. I don't know why, she does a way better job than I do, I got to admit. We walk outside, and Luke is already by the door. He changed his hair, and changed into a button up gray shirt, which is unbuttoned quite low at the top, like he did with his uniform, earlier. "Okay, let's go exploring." He says, smiling. Luke still get's on my nerve after earlier today, but I'm not getting mad because I trust Kristine. It took her so long to find someone she could trust. So I'm sure 2 people who are loving her, and taking care of her, is probably a dream come true. She's been hurt by people her whole life. So having this boy be really nice to her on their first day of meeting, probably will change her view on society, and help her overcome her trauma. Which, is what I've ever wanted for her, I just wish that happiness could come from me, and only me. Kristine told me, that if I ever fell out of love, she wanted me to tell her right when I realize it. And if that were to happen, she would never get mad at me because it's natural. Would she not understand, if I get mad at her for falling out of love? Maybe I should talk to her about it. She wouldn't get mad for bringing it up. But how do I bring it up. Especially with Luke always with us. I'll just see if this feeling fades off of my mind. Jealousy? Is that what this is? It's a perfectly reasonable feeling I guess. I trust Kristine, but I don't trust him.. Gah. This is a big mess. Maybe, maybe once Luke goes back on his railroad shift, we can travel this city together. Finding out my past, maybe even her past. Wait. Why even is she here? I told her to wait for me. Of course I'm thankful, I would be such a mess if she weren't here. But I don't know why she is here. Did she miss me that much? Or... Or was it something else. Something that happened while I was gone. With the villagers maybe? The merchants? What if her parents came back to Duarta. The gangs. Surely not my brother. He wouldn't do anything to a girl, he's always been sexist like that. Only getting mad at, and hitting guys. He hasn't had a girlfriend since high school either. "Sebastian?" She calls from outside the door. "Yeah, oh yeah. Sorry." I run up, and hold her hand while we walk. We definitely together. We don't go on dates I guess, but we both love each other. At least I think, she loved me back in Duarta, after everything with Luke, and the train ride. I hope she still does.
