Alpha's Girl

Chapter 5

"How dare you." Jason spat. He growled at me.

"Leave her alone." Jayden said. Of course he would defend me. Jason turned to me and grinned he took out the keys and unlocked my chains. He grabbed my hair. I screamed struggling.

"Roseanne!" Jayden tried to help me. Jason pulled me by my hair from the room.

I screamed and tried to tug my hair from his grasp. Tears filled my eyes. He yanked my towards another cell. He threw me in it. It's the same as my cell except a large wooden pole was in the middle and a table in the corner I couldn't see what was on top.

Jason wraps my arms around the pool and chains them together. What was he doing? I looked up at him. He had a knife in his hands. Another man from behind me tied a cloth around my mouth to muffle my screams.

Jason knelt behind me and slid the knife down my jumper cutting it in half. He opened it up to show my bare back. I knew what this was they did it sometimes in my pack. I was about to be whipped. I couldn't scream for help. I leaned my head against the pole and waited.

I heard the crack of the whip. Pain ran through my back. I gritted my teeth. Jason whipped me again. Tears clouded my vision. He hit me again. I screamed through my gritted teeth. Again. This time I screamed. Again. Pain soared through me.

"Stop." I tried to say but the cloth muffled it. Another hit. My vision was becoming black at the edges. I screamed.

I didn't feel anymore hits after that. Jason voice was muffled. A small woman came in the room and stitched up my jumper. I couldn't walk the pain was too much. Jason turned me around. He watched me for a while then punched me. I screamed and fell to the floor. I spat out the blood. He pulled me by my hair back to the cell that Jayden sat in. Could he hear me? I looked up at him I wasn't chained this time.

Jason left and locked the door I knelt in front of the door. I couldn't move.
"Roseanne, Roseanne can you hear me?" I looked up at Jayden. My vision went completely black and I felt the cold floor. Then I felt nothing.

I sat up slowly my back still hurt. Jayden was staring at me he looked like he hadn't blinked in years.

"Jayden." I moaned. He sighed with relief. I remembered everything. I shivered when I felt the pain. I crawled over to him.

"Thank god you're alright." Jayden took me in his arms. I realised I did love him. I needed him. I leaned my head against his muscular and hard chest. I closed my eyes.

"I thought you were dead." Jayden whispered. I didn't respond I was in too much pain. I looked up at him.

"I want to be your mate Jayden." I whispered. He smiled.

"You always were." Jayden kissed my forehead and held my closer to him. I had a mate now. I felt the butterflies in my stomach. I loved Jayden I really did.

The cell door opened I didn't look to see who it was.
"Oh my god did he do this to you?" I heard Zoey's voice.

"Yeah." Jayden said.

"Oh my god Roseanne I'm so sorry." Zoey knelt beside me.

"I'm alright." I croaked. She shook her head.

"I... I can't believe he did this." I raised my eyebrow.

"He kidnapped is and locked us up and you can't believe he would do this?" Jayden said.

"Well I thought..." she stood up and left. Jayden laughed.

Roseanne! Roseanne! Are you out there. Lyra called in my mind. I don't know what to respond.

Lyra! Lyra is that you. I said sitting up.

"Roseanne what's wrong?" Jayden asked.
"Lyra she talking to me shh." I said.

Roseanne they told us you might be dead where are you. Are you with Jayden and Zoey they're missing too. Jason's looking for them. Roseanne talk to me. At her mention of Jason I want to scream. What can I tell her that won't get her into trouble? I have to warn her but how?

Lyra sweetie don't trust Jason promise me that. I can't tell you where I am but yes I'm safe with Jayden please Lyra don't tell anyone about this not even Alexandra. I knew Jayden was listening to us.

What is Jayden listening because so is Alexandra please tell me where you are. Lyra begged. Damn it. Alexandra knew.

Bye Lyra I love you be safe sweetie don't tell anyone about this. I blocked her from my mind.

"Why didn't you tell her?" Jayden asked.

"If she knew Jason would have hurt her or killed her." I said. Jayden tightened his arms around me and kissed my cheek. I smiled up at him.

There was no denying it now this boy was my mate and I wanted him. No I needed him. For a moment I was lost in his turquoise eyes. I forgot the pain I just felt. I forgot my sister, I forgot my parents. I'd forgot everything except him. I clung to him tighter.

He was mine and I was his. We were made for each other. We fit each other perfectly. I could feel my stomach flip. I was at peace for a while when I looked at him. I was happy.

Then it all came back. The pain ripped through me. It all came back. The fear, the hatred, the pain. I curled up and let the tears spill down my cheeks. I couldn't breathe. My head was spinning. Jayden just held me. He knew he could do anything. Nothing could change this feeling, this feeling of pain and fear the feeling. Of unbelievable hatred for Jason. Even for Zoey. I hated Jason the most. I hated what he's done. He took me away from Lyra and now she was in danger she knew I was alive.

I sobbed into Jayden's chest. "Hey baby it's alright." Jayden said. He ran his fingers through my hair. "I'm here sweetie," he whispered. I held on to him.

"Jayden I want to go home." I said.

"Me too Rose." I started sobbing again. Lyra and Alexandra called me Rose. I missed them so much.

Rose can you hear me? Alexandra's voice shouted in my head.

Alexandra help me. I was tired of it. Tired of being locked up. I needed Alexandra.

Where are you? She asked.

The cells. Jason took Jayden and me he's going to kill us. He wants to be the Alpha. Zoey's his mate.

What? I'm coming I'll tell everyone I promise. Alexandra said.

"Alexandra's telling everyone." I said sitting up.

"Really?" Jayden said.

"Yes." I smiled. We we're going back to be free. At least I hoped so.

The cell door swung open. Jason stood there his arms crossed two men behind him.

"Kill them."
