"so, how did it go?", yeongji instantly inquired as soon as jeongin stepped outside of the room, jeongin frowned and shrugged, "she said i'll meet my soulmate by the age of 25"

"but i can see your red string though", seungmin suddenly blurted out, "but if she says you'll meet her at 25 then we shouldn't rush"

"oh", hyunjin reacted, "that's possible?"

seungmin nodded, "of course! we meet them at the right time and at the right place. if you rush it, then there will be some complications?"

"like what?", yeongji inquired as seungmin replied, "look at hyunjin. he's been having complications with his recent partners since all of them are not his soulmates and he's rushing to have a girlfriend."

"oooh! so that's why no one lasts for more than three months in any of hyunjin hyung's relationships", jeongin snickered which he immediately went silent when he noticed hyunjin glaring at him

"shut up, seungmin!', hyunjin bickered, "don't even drag me like that"

seungmin chuckled, "you're the best example out there"

a young lady went out from the room and smiled at them, "next person please"

"it's my turn", yeongji stands up as she left her sling bag on seungmin's lap, "please guard this for me"

"sure!", seungmin smiled as yeongji hurriedly entered the room

"hyung, are you sure you don't like her?", jeongin suddenly inquired as seungmin and hyunjin instantly looked at him

"that question is for?", hyunjin inquired which jeongin quickly replied, "for the both of you"

seungmin chuckled, "i'm not his soulmate, why would i?"

jeongin shrugged, "you're not sure. you can't see your own string, remember?"

hyunjin was quiet as he's not sure of what to reply as well, he was about to say something when jeongin added, "what if we're in a world that this whole soulmate thing doesn't exist, would you have a crush on yeongji noona?"

hyunjin's heart started to beat faster as he waits for seungmin's response, seungmin smiled softly and nodded, "maybe? i'm not sure. she's nice and attractive but it's too awkward confessing this right now because yeongji's soulmate is in this room."

jeongin gasped, "you mean—"

hyunjin sighed, "yes, i'm her soulmate. happy now?"

jeongin dropped his jaw, "you never told us??"

"he doesn't want you guys to know", seungmin frowned, "he doesn't like the idea of yeongji as her possible future wife."

"why though?", jeongin looked back and forth from hyunjin to seungmin, seungmin shrugged as a respone while hyunjin frowned, "i don't know, i suddenly felt it"

"that's probably one of the complications", seungmin replied, "you know how you keep on changing girlfriends even if you knew already who your soulmate is"

jeongin gasped, "maybe that's the case hyung!"

hyunjin rolled his eyes, "whatever. it will take time for us i guess. if it's really her."

by the time hyunjin finished his sentence, yeongji walked out of the room. the boys instantly looked at her as seungmin proceeds to inquire, "so?"

she shrugged, "i think she's joking"

jeongin titls his head to the side, "but i know this is reliable since the madam inside is seungmin's relative", seungmin instantly nods, agreeing to jeongin's statement

she proceeds to pout and sighed, "but she told me i have two soulmates, i mean how is that even possible?"

the boys were quiet as they looked at each other, yeongji suddenly added, "and she also said that they're my close friends. weird, right?"

"why is she not answering my calls?", i groaned as i dialed my twin sister's phone number again, i heard a familiar robot voice yet again which then i sighed and immediately ended the call

angrily, i turn left by the corner and suddenly bumped into someone

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!", the person i bumped into suddenly screamed as she picked up the things that fell on the floor, mainly notebooks

i helped her picking it up as i handed it over to her, i scratched my nape and mumbled, "i'm sorry, i was just annoyed and wasn't looking at my directions"

she glared at me, "accepted, be careful next time i guess?", she fixed her notebooks in her tote bag and was about to leave the place

it took me seconds before i realize what i must do. as if by impulse, i grabbed her wrist which made her to look back and raise her eyebrow, "yes? do you need more? i accepted your apology."

"uhm are you busy?"

she rolled her eyes, "yes, so if you're going to hook me up then my answer is no, not today."

"so you're free in the next few days?", i inquired as i activated my pleading face

she chuckled, "maybe?", she fished out a card from her wallet and handed it to me, "that's my contact details. i really need to go, bye!"

she then instantly left me as i received the card from her, i read its contents and smiled, "Jung Areum? that's a cute name."
