Ahsoka woke up groggily in a cold, grey cell with a ray shield. Memories of her trial and betrayal by the Order flooded to her mind. Everyone had abandoned her, except for Anakin of course, even Lux was nowhere to be found.

She felt anger and pain beginning to boil up inside of her, but before it could take control, she took a deep breath and banished the thoughts from her mind. Right now she had to figure out where she was, and how to get out of it.

Before she could take in much of her surroundings, she felt a presence approaching. It was a familiar one, but not Anakin. She didn't have much time to speculate, because the person coming towards her made himself visible: Tarkin.

"Well it seems you have found yourself imprisoned again Ms. Tano." His voice was cold, but Ahsoka could sense a bit of amusement in it. Even before her trial she had never really been fond of him. He always seemed to harbor a deep hatred for the Jedi, and she didn't know why. When Ahsoka had heard he stayed loyal to Palpatine in the Imperial Army, she was not the least bit surprised.

"I must say I am a bit surprised you are still alive. I was sure a mere padawan like yourself had perished in Order 66." Ahsoka's blood boiled and she closed her eyes. She knew the man was just trying to get under her skin and get a reaction out of her, but she couldn't help it. She hated the man with every fiber of her being. He had suggested that she, a SEVENTEEN year old girl, be executed, and not to mention for crimes she hadn't even committed.

"Palpatine should've gotten rid of you when he had the chance."

That was the straw that broke the camels back. Ahsoka's eyes shot open, and rage was clearly visible on them. She reached her hand out and began to choke Tarkin. He started gasping for air, but instead of reaching for his throat like most, he reached for something on his wrist. He pressed a button and Ahsoka heard a scream.

Lux! She gasped and let go of Tarkin. She reached out with the force to make sure that Lux was okay. He was still alive thankfully, but was in immense pain. She assumed that he had been shocked.

Tarkin rose from the ground. "Try something like that again, the boy dies. Try to escape, the boy dies. Really try anything, and, you guessed it, he dies. The Emperor doesn't really need him, he wants him dead anyways. You're the one he wants. Why, I don't know. I'd love to kill you now myself." Tarkin laughed and left Ahsoka sitting there, blood boiling.

To say Ahsoka was angry after her encounter with Tarkin would be an understatement. He just stood there like a coward, taunting her. She wished he would face her man to togruta, but he was probably too scared to, for he knew she would kick his ass.

After a while, she calmed down and mulled what Tarkin had said just before leaving. She knew the Emperor had wanted Lux dead, that's how she re-met him anyways, but she was stuck on the other thing he had said. What does the Emperor want with me? She thought. Normally he would just have Jedi or other force users killed on site, but he wanted to meet with her personally.

It confused Ahsoka. Maybe he wanted to recruit her, but why would he not have just had Vader do it? Maybe he found out about me being Vader's padawan. Yes that had to be it. He probably wants Vader to kill me in front of him to prove his loyalty or something. But he would never... would he?

Ahsoka pushed the thoughts from her mind. She had to find a way off this ship before it reached its destination, preferably with Lux alive. Ahsoka sat on the floor in the middle of the cell and closed her eyes. She focused on the force, on Lux, on her, and the ship. She could suddenly see everything in the ship at once. Every stormtrooper, every corridor, was now visible to her.

She searched for the cell Lux was being held in, using his force signature to lead her to him. She found him, a few cells down from her. He was attached to some sort of table or machine or something. It looked as though he was conscious, and she tried to talk to him through the force, but no dice. He wasn't a force user so she knew it was a long shot anyways. Next, she tried to undo the restraints on his arms and legs.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

The voice completely broke Ahsoka from her thoughts. She looked up to see that Vader had entered her cell. How he had gotten there without her noticing she didn't know. She must've been so focused on Lux that she didn't notice him, but that didn't explain how he knew what she was doing. She opened her mouth to ask, but he answered before she could.

"Because I know you well Snips. You're exactly like me, or the old me at least. First thing I would do in your spot is think of saving others."

Ahsoka stayed quiet. She had already had an unpleasant conversation with Tarkin, she didn't wanna talk to her old master.

"What's up? You always have something to say."

Ahsoka stayed silent for a moment more, before she finally spoke. "Did you know?" She asked quietly.

"What?" Vader asked completely caught off guard.

"DID YOU KNOW?"

"Know what Snips?"

"That you were sending me to kill Lux? The only boy I've ever had feelings for. You sent me to kill him! That would be like Palpatine sending you to kill Padme!" The mention of the name made Vader wince.

"Don't you DARE say her name!"

"Why not? Do you think she'd be proud of you? Proud of what you've become?" Ahsoka taunted.

Vader was about ready to kill her, but suddenly Anakin took over. His blue eyes returned, and his face softened. He collapsed to the ground and spoke. "Ahsoka... I knew, and I'm sorry. Vader sent you there to kill him, but me, Anakin, Skyguy, your real master, sent you there because I know the power of love. I hated seeing what Vader had made you, and knew deep down that he would bring you back." And just as soon as they had come, his blue eyes were replaced with the yellow and red ones of Vader. "And I knew this too... but I knew it would be your downfall. I knew if you did not kill him, I would have the pleasure of killing you both." He stood and walked out of the cell before Ahsoka could even get a word in.

Ahsoka was just left in her thoughts, not sure what to think. Her mind was telling her that Anakin was still there, that there was still light inside of him. She had seen it just now, but she also knew what Vader was, what he had done. She didn't know if she'd be able to bring Anakin back, but if it came to it she didn't know if she could kill him. She just hoped it wouldn't come to that.
