Hikari quickly rushed to her class, 3A- one of the strongest- and rushed through the door very quickly, almost stumbling forward, and was about to fall and crash to the ground until a long strand of something sticky and white shot around her and whirled a few times around her waste, and she let out a pained cough as the string-like thing pulled her back up straight.
It broke off of whatever was stabilizing it, and Hikari regained her balance as she turned around to see Saki from before, fiddling with a strand of the white stuff. "Spider web..." Hikari mumbled to herself, and Saki nodded. She wasn't in the doorway like Hikari had just been, but she was across the hall, and grinned as she continued to walk. Man- that spider girl had quite some webbing skills! No wonder she got into the training academy.
She continued her walking profession and entered the class again, a few of the students staring at her, one giggling, as her eyes darted around as she looked for Nora's tall figure- expecting her to be sitting down in her usual spot- but instead she wasn't there...! Hikari shrugged, and went to go sit down in her desk when Nora poked her on the back. "Hey Hikari! Sorry I'm not early like usual," and the two girls took their seats.
Soon enough, everybody was seated and then their teacher- one of the strongest ability-users in the school- Mrs. Glade- approached the class, going to her small desk set up area in the front corner of the class as she exclaimed, "Good morning everybody!"
She sat down and played with her hair before saying, "I have a few important announcements today. The first one is-" "I'M HERE!" a voice cut Mrs. Glade off as the whole room turned to see Saki in the doorway! "S-Sorry! I was told I would be switching classes pretty soon- I still thought I'd be in 4B at least today! Hello!" she stepped in and scanned the room, and waved at Hikari when they caught each other's eyes. "Oh, hello! You must be Saki!" The teacher exclaimed and Saki nodded, "I was just going to tell the class about you. I would've informed them before but I just found out and stuff..." Mrs. Glade's voice trailed off.
"Sorry for interrupting!? Where should I sit!?" She asked, and Mrs. Glade directed her to an empty desk in front of Nora. Close to Hikari, great! As soon as Saki had set up she turned around and waved to Hikari and nodded at Nora, before turning to the front of the class. "Okay- so she's our new student." "Is she stronger than Nora?" A boy asked and a few others laughed, but they were sushed.
"Okay- so I have a few more announcements! So...." Mrs. Glade stood up, "Since it's your last year at this school- everybody here being the max age to be enrolled- you all know that we'll be having presentation night in exactly one month!" Some kids shook nervously while others grinned. "And this is a huge presentation of our year, folks! Everybody, singley will have to present their ability to the judges- and you'll get points for defence or attack, dependant on your ability- and that will decide which training school you'll be enrolled in next year! But here's the thing- you'll have two presentation nights- one at the start of the year, and one at the end of the year- to see how much you've grown- and they'll add you your points. So we'll be having harder training classes and battles because I really want you guys to get into good schools. And then in the middle of the year, every training school across the planet will have the best group of students dependant on battles travel to the battle arena in another city and battle with other schools and take challenges until one group claims victory!" everybody was dead nervous.
"It's our main sporting event here at the school, and everybody will have to try out for the team that's going to be battling a week before the meet up in the arena- so train hard for our first two events, alright!?" She clapped her hands and sudden chatter arose in the class. Soon it was time for the first class of 3A- training- just pure training- and everybody stood up and were led outside by Mrs. Glade, and led towards the training field.
