Super Training Academy

Chapter One

One lash. Two lash. Three lash. Sounds of whip-snap lashes could be heard as the flimsy wooden board that was used as a training tool got slowly beaten up by a long light brown braid. Back and forth, the braid that belonged to a tall girl continued to lash across it. "Ugh!" She said, huffing as she revolted her braid and used her hand to whip it in a huge cowboy-rope circle before it wrapped around her hand. She then jumped up, over the board, and flipped back onto the ground on the other side as she used her braid to practically cause a huge dent to form in the straight middle of the board. She landed perfectly and grinned slightly. She jumped up even higher and spun around, then whipped the board vertically and caused a huge dent to grow through it. She jumped down and then yet again, landed perfectly. "Great."

She sighed and then dusted off her bare feet with her hands, her shoes taken off for her training and she looked down to her school uniform before turning around to see a shorter girl with light sky blue hair in two tight curl ponytails and devil red eyes approaching her, not to mention the small white horns coming out of the top of her head.

The braid-haired girl wiped a bead of sweat off of her head and waved, "Hey Hikari!" Hikari, the blue haired girl- smiled sweetly and blushed a little bit as she walked towards her. "Nora! Hi. Why are you training? We've been doing that all day at the academy..." her voice trailed off and Nora shrugged. "I... I don't know. Well, I know that we train every day- but I really want to make my ability stronger. Y'know?" Hikari nodded.

Hikari and Nora, the two girls in this scene, go to an advanced training school- Super Training Academy- or S.T.A. for short. That school is a school where students with abilities- kind of like superpowers- well they are for some students- go to train almost- just kidding- every day to make their abilities stronger and more stable. This was the second week of this school's year so far- and Nora was already fully training her ability.

"Ugh, hey- at least you're one of the strongest students at school! You got in without even having an interview or anything! You're like to power of three girls in one." Hikari mumbled and Nora shook her head, "Stop. That isn't true. Acrobatics and Levitation in one? That isn't that cool." "But it's cool because you use your braid as a weapon! And it's so long. You beat up so many kids when it came to the battles... you'll be one of the strongest in the country!" Hikari said.

"No I won't... shut up." Nora said and then stomped on the ground and her body began to float up, Levitating, and then she pounced on thin air and bolted down like a Hawk at the board and whipped her braid, chopping the board in half. "Oh my god!" Hikari screamed.

Nora tumbled forward and then stood up like she had just jumped half an inch. This girl was so strong. "Well, I'll see you at the dorms, okay?" Hikari asked and Nora nodded, "I'm going to keep training for a little bit." Hikari sighed as she began to walk away from Nora, who was doing some sort of flip. "Maybe she's preparing for presentation night? I haven't heard much about that. Hm..." Hikari thought to herself.

Presentation night was a night when professional battlers who had perfected their abilities came to watch students battle each other and preform their abilities to see which training school they'll send each student to dependant on their power or defence. But that was all Hikari knew, since this was her first year at this school- and she knew it was in a month. It was kind of surprising that Nora was the only student training on the training court- a field with dummies and boards of different defence set up for students to train on, a cement battle field for battles, and other training things. It was just a few hours after school was out and Hikari was heading to the girl dormitory, expected to walk with Nora, her first friend at the school- but Nora was training. 

I guess she'll just have to walk home alone for once.
