Chapter 4

Nico POV

I'm worried that they may not have used protection. I go to the infirmary and come back with a pregnancy test, she takes the box in curiosity.

"You want me to take a pregnancy test?!"

"Yes."

"Don't you trust Frank?" I turn to Frank.

"Did you use protection?"

"Uhmmmm." I turn back to Hazel.

"There's your answer. Now come on." I drag her to the bathroom.

"Nico! I'm a girl and your a boy!"

"Your my sister. And I need to teach you how to use it."

"How do you know how to use one?!"

"Bianca got pregnant once, but she died before she could have the child." We have reached the bathroom and we go in, I lock the door and read the box.

"Ok. So you have to pee on the stick." She looked at me like I was insane. I gesture for her to do so.

"How do you know this will work?"

"When was the last time you had your period?"

"How do you even know about that?!"

"Your a girl! All girls have them!" She huffs.

"When?"

"A little over a month." I widen my eyes and give Hazel the stick. She looks at it for a while before sighing.

"Turn around." I roll my eyes but do as she says. I hear her pee on the stick and when she's done I turn around and see her holding the stick and staring at it expectantly.

"Now we have to wait five minutes. Let's go out to the others." I take her hand and drag her out to the others when we get out to the others I take the stick from Hazel and wait.

Several minutes later a pink positive appears. I'm shocked at first but then it turns into white hot anger. I hand the stick to Hazel and walk up to Frank. I punch him square in the jaw. He stumbles back and he is completely shocked.

"Why did you do that?" I walk back to Hazel and take the stick from her, then I walk back to Frank and show him the pink plus sign. He turns pale then he faints. I give the stick to Hazel, then I go to my room and grab a golden drachma.

When I come back to the others they stare at me.

"Percy start an iris message." He nods and begins to prepare.

"Hazel. Do you want an abortion or to keep it?"

"Keep it."

"Percy call Hades." Hazel turns pale, but doesn't say anything. Percy says the words and Hades pops up.

"What do you want Nico?"

"Hazel has something to tell you." Hades looks concerned as I drag Hazel towards to screen.

"I-I-I'm pregnant." Hades looks completely shocked until he swipes through the image and I hear a pop beside me and I turn to see Hades standing there. He grins and hugs Hazel.

"Yay! I'm gonna be a grandpa!" He starts dancing around and I stifle my laughter. He turns to Hazel. "Who's the father? Is it Frank?" Hazel rolls her eyes.

"No it's Nico." I stare at her.

"Did you just use sarcasm?!"

"Yeah. Why?" I pale and I notice that Frank had woken up. I walk over to him and he backs up into a wall. I put my hand on the wall next to his head.

"When was the last time you did it?" I say this through clenched teeth and Frank gulps.

"Just over a month ago." He says this in clear fear. I take a deep breath and walk back to Hazel.

"You will start to feel morning sickness, you will start the 2nd trimester in a little less than a month, you show during the 2nd trimester, and you have very strong hormones." She stares at me and nods, Hades looks confused.

"Son, how do you know this. Do you have a child?"

"No. But Bianca was pregnant before she died. Oh, and Hazel, it's twins one girl one boy."

"Well your pure as corn." I hear Hades mumble this and I shiver as I remember when I was turned to corn.

"Don't even mention corn." Everyone looks confused except for Frank, who decides to speak up.

"He has been turned to corn twice." I point my sword at his throat.

"You really do have a death wish Zhang."

"Not like you weren't gonna kill me anyway."

"Touché." I still don't move my sword away from his throat. I feel myself being turned to corn and I think of a million things to get out of this situation. But since I'm corn I don't have a mind, so I can't think.

Finally I get turned back to myself and I'm gasping for air. I see Persephone talking with Hazel and Hades. A hand is placed on my shoulder, I turn around and see that its Leo. He sits down and I lean into him.

"I hate being corn." He chuckles lightly.

"Can we go back to the room?"

"Yeah sure." I head out the door with Leo towards the room. When we get into the room I fall face first onto the bed.

"Well today was a turn of events."

"Yeah. And I still haven't had breakfast." I hop up at this.

"You need breakfast. I'm cooking."

"No don't cook."

"I cook when I'm stressed, now I have someone to cook for." I walk out and we go to the kitchen, the others are in the dinning room so we have the kitchen to ourselves.

I decide to make pasta and chocolate chip cookies.

When I'm done with the pasta Leo eats it all.

"That pasta was absolutely delicious." I blush and continue making the cookies.

When the cookies are done I give two to Leo and put the rest in a container. I put the container on a secret shelf that only Leo and I know about.

"Gods how did you learn to cook like that?"

"When your on your own for over four years you learn how to make food." He nods and he looks like he's thinking.

"I have an idea!"
