If you all read the last chapter , I mentioned that everything seemed to be very good , and my life was going really good. But I also mentioned that nobody could have guessed it was just a start to something bad :(
Every thing was going perfect. I coached the first game got a win. Second game , win , their game another win. I was Ian three of three win streak.
Now this is where things went wrong. My fourth match was against one of the strong teams in the MLS Atlanta City .
All the fans expected another win. Little do they know that it isn't that easy to win against oppression like them. The pressure was building. My tactics weren't being executed as the way I wanted my players too. I should not blame myb players , but me cause I wasn't able to instruct them properly. We lost or its better I should say we got theshed , we got destroyed , 4-0. Nothing was working. The board understood the reason of the loss for this match up but they just couldn't tolerate what happened next !
The next match day against an one of the most underperforming sides , beat my team 2-0. The fans were furious. I saw many banners in the stadium that said " GO BACK HAWKINS GET THE FUCK OUT ". Meanwhile inside of me a lot of pressure has been building inside of me.
The day came when I had lost 8 games in a row , undoubtedly we were last in the table. The board wanted me to win the league. They wanted profits off the pitch. Currently we are under huge losses. I had so many thoughts in me.
Will I get sacked.
Even if I get sacked will I get a job anywhere else ?
Is this going to be the end ?
