I asked her for her contact information , her reply was kind of werid. She didn't give me the number. She wrote it down.
You might be thinking what was so weird about her writing the number down ?
Please have some patience !The thing is she wrote her number on a 10 ASD ( Australian dollar ) currency note. She played for the drinks we were having. She gave the same note to the bartender.
I asked her why would she do that ?
She said if we were destined to meet each other you will find this note. Or maybe this note will end up with you !I asked her " do you seriously beleive in all this ? Can't you just give me your number ? "
She said " I don't know you well , and I usually never give my number to anyone , but you seem to be a nice person so I'm considering to give you my number through this way ! "
" Are you serious ? There is no way this note can end up with me ! What are the odds ? " I said
" Yess exactly , that's when I'll know you are worthy for my number "
Well okay I said.
"And yes I need your number , in case you find that note and call me I'll know it's you !" She said.
I gave her my number thinking that she would call me soon.
Well I was dead wrong.
With that she left. And thankfully it wasn't through any call this time
My assistant manager who was my only real best friend had an eye on me this whole time. After Ishika left he came and sat with me. He bought us another shot. He payed for it.
I told him the entire story and he told me just this.
" Don't worry I'm sure all the good things will happen to you. I have you covered ".
He seemed very positive about it.
But I wonder what did ' I have you covered mean ? "
We'd be heading to Perth next with the match having potential for Sydney FC to win the league
