Narrator's POV:
Months passed and it was summer vacation. Jungkook said he wanted to go for a 3 month trek in Incheon. Eunjung was upset as she was about to be lonely. She almost forgot that she had Haru and Hyejin as her best friends.
=== The day before Jungkook left for Incheon ===
Eunjung's POV:
"Are you sure you want to go?" I asked as he was packing up his bags
"Yup" he sounded super excited
"Will you miss me?" I started getting emotional
"Obviously... is that even a question" he hugged me
"But 3 months is too long" I sobbed
"C'mon I'm not dying.. its a normal vacation" he patted my back
"Come back fast" my voice trembled
"Yeah..." he caressed my head "I will"
Jungkook's POV:
"I will" I rubbed her head softly
Me and Eunjung are so close. People almost envy our relationship. Since we grew up together, we did not have any skinship problem.. neither did our parents have. We held hands, hugged and even kissed each other on the cheek. Any stranger would think we're dating. I wish it was true.
"Jungkook! Eunjung! Come down! The dinner is ready!" My mom called us from the kitchen
"Ne!! We're coming" We said in unison.
We broke the hug and I wiped her tears. She looked cute.
"Let's go?" I asked
"Hmm" she nodded and followed me down the stairs
Both are families were present for the dinner. Me and Eunjung sat side by side. She looked very upset and gloomy. I pinched her thighs and she gave a small laugh which relieved me a little.
Eunjung's POV:
Our dads and moms were talking about random topics while me and Jungkook were talking this and that.
"By the way is Seojoon planning to come back?" Jungkook's dad asked. Seojoon. Park Seojoon is my elder brother.
"He said he'll be back by next year" my dad nodded
"He's such a talented chap" His mom commented
"Even your son is highly talented. He's just like our son" My mom said and looked at Jungkook, who gave a very cute smile.
My brother is one crazy business minded person. He mission is to start a huge successful business in Korea. And right now, he's in America trying to do some deep studies about it. I'm sorry, I'm not so educated about his complicated life.
"Are you planning to go and stay with him?" Jungkook's dad asks
"I don't know. As of now, no. But if I get one opportunity, I'll give it to you" My dad winks at him
"Why me?" he asked with a wide smile.
"I'm not interested to go there. I like this place... my family, friends, childhood.. everything I've spent here. I don't think so I'll ever be satisfied if I leave Busan" my dad nodded
"Ohh but why do you say that you'll give it to me" he asked
"I know your family loves America. Plus you also want to educate Jungkook in a different country. America is a good place to you know?" My dad shrugged
"I've never seen someone so selfless... you really don't think about yourself ha" his dad joked
"Never... I'll only think about my children now" he smirked
Jungkook looked at me and leaned towards my ear.
"Don't go" he whispered
"Isn't that what I'm supposed to say?" I whispered back
We both laughed and continued eating.
Narrator's POV:
Eunjung slept with Jungkook so that they could talk the whole night together because of which they slept late.
The next day, Jungkook got up on time (he's a light sleeper) and didn't bother waking her up. He lifted the blanket and put in on her properly. He told his mom not to wake her up and so before leaving, he gave her one final kiss on her forehead and left for Incheon.
=== 2 hours later ===
Eunjung's POV:
Eunjung woke up and saw the time.
"SHIT!!" She ran downstairs and saw Jungkook's mom sitting on the couch.
"Ommoni" I called her "Did he.." i asked
"Yeah he left... you were in deep sleep" she sighed
I know Jungkook. He would never call me.... he'll never disturb my sleep. But why did his mom do that...?
"Ommoni" I called her again
"Wae" she looked behind
"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked
"Darling, I tried waking you up when he was taking bath.. but you didnt move an inch" she sighed
The truth was Jungkook himself, told his mother not to wake her up. Thinking Eunjung would feel upset, she had to lie.
