"Why the heck did I shout at her!?" I gripped my hair
"She send me a sorry.. what should I say back? Sorry?" I typed in sorry and erased it and again typed it and erased it.
"Oh god... I messed up so bad" Feeling guilty, I hit the call button by mistake and I called Eunjung.
"OH SHIT ASFGHXZYRSDTU!!!!" I panicked and tried switching off the phone but I'm such an idiot. She picked it up.
"Yeoboseyo? Jimin?" She called from the other end
"....." I didnt know what to say
"Jimin I know you can hear me. Can we meet?" She asked
"no!" I immediately said without thinking and hit my head on the wall
"Oh... okay... Then I'll say it here. Okay?" She asked
".....Hm" I grabbed my pillow for support
"I didnt know what all you went through because of me. I'm really really sorry about that... Its not something I wanted for you to happen. Jimin we're best friends right?" She asked politely
"..Yeah we are..... best friends" I thought a lot on the last two words
"Yeah... I love you the most as a best friend Jimin. You are always my best buddy... No one else"
'Great she friend-zoned me' I thought
"Eunjung. Honestly I'm sorry. I shouldnt have acted like that yesterday. It was too rude of me... I'm sorry. And yeah we're best friends! Forever..." I smiled
"Thank you.... Thanks a lot" I could feel her smiling
'At least she's happy... From now I wont burden her with my sadness' I thought
"So now? Wassup" I tried to make a good conversation
"Nothing much... Just having a heavy head after yesterday night. I guess i didnt sleep much" she said
"Oh really? Why? Having some nightmares?" I got slightly worried
"Oh no yesterday Jungkook propo-" she stopped.
Wait what? He proposed her?
"What is it? Say" I tried to remain calm
"Umm.. I know this is not the right time to say it but he proposed me. We're getting married" she said in a feeble voice
"Oh congratulations! When is the wedding?" I tried to keep my voice steady
"Uh... Next month" she said
"Woah!! Isnt it too early? Well you like him anyways... Congrats!!" I laughed and said
"...Thanks" she said unexcitedly
"Arent you happy? Thats something you always dreamt about. Your marriage! You're finally getting married.. wowwww" I praised her and tried to lighten the situation
"Yeahh" She gulped and sighed
"Good good keep it up.. Oh um I'll call you later. Mom's calling me for something." I scratched my head
"yeah yeah sure... bye" She said and I cut the call.
Wow. She's getting married....great. Let me rot now. Where's my grave?
I went downstairs and saw my mom cooking something.
"Oh Jimin! You finally came out of your room? How are you feeling dear?" She continued cooking
"Mom..." I hugged her from behind. I had no one to console or pat my back and say 'Everything will be okay' so I have to console myself.
"Everything will be okay Jimin.... Whatever you're feeling right now will all go away and you'll be happy once again. Okay? I'm there with you everytime" My mom gripped my palm on her stomach and caressed it.
"Mom...I'm sorry I shouted on you yesterday. I wont do it again.... I love you so much" my eyes started leaking drop by drop
She didnt say anything and just stroked by palm softly.
