Chapter 34

                        Jason's POV

"Ugh..." I groaned as I woke up. I saw a beautiful lady with wings, although she was blurry. "Are you an angel..?" I asked.

"JASON!!" The angel shouted, hugging me. When my vision cleared, I saw that it was Kianna. "Thank goodness you're ok!"

"Too... tight..." I breathed. She let go of me.

"Sorry!" She told me. Then she slapped me.

"Hey! What was that for?!" I asked.

"For scaring me to death! And this-" She slapped me again. "-Is for risking yourself for me! Never do it again! Understand?!"

"I understand." I told her. Then she hugged me. I tried to hug her back, but my arm hurt too much.

"Don't strain yourself." She told me. "You were beat up pretty bad."

"At least it wasn't from you." I told her. "It would've been way worse." We laughed. "I'm sorry that you didn't get to enjoy the stars." I told her.

"It was nice while it lasted, but you're more important." She told me. I smiled.

"And our kiss was ruined." I told her.

"Yeah, but, hey. Everything worked out. So far, at least." She said. "I told the others what happened. You're a real hero."

"I AM your knight in shining armour." I puffed out my chest. We laughed.

"And I AM your princess who has wings."

"Yes you are..." I cupped her face in my hand. She smiled, then pulled away.

"You should get some rest. You need to heal."

"Why don't you just heal me?" She face palmed.

"Of course! I can revive people, so why not heal you?! I'm so stunned!" Then she healed me.

"Thanks." I told her. Then Shadow appeared out of nowhere. "Get away from her!" I shouted. Shadow chuckled.

"Don't worry, I'll keep your Princess safe." Then he grabbed her.

"Let me go!" She tried kicking him, but he avoided it.

"It was me who shot the arrow at your wings. Now you can't fly away, little birdy." Then he teleported her away with him.

"KIANNA!!" I screamed. Then Sonic came running in.

"What's wrong?!" Sonic asked.

"Shadow took Kianna." I told him. "We need to save her."
