Chapter 33

                        Sonic's POV

We finished taking care of the ambush of bad guys, then we attended to the injured and I got somebody to go around to make sure everybody was here. But there was two people who's names didn't show up.

"Sir, everybody's here." The person told me.

"That's gr-"

"Everybody besides Kianna and Jason." My face fell. When we were ambushed, every villain was there, but Shadow wasn't. Oh no... I checked everywhere in the Palace, looking for a clue for what happened to them. I got to a balcony and what I saw frightened me. There was blood EVERYWHERE. I saw a leather jacket and picked it up.

"Kianna's leather jacket..." I whispered. Then I looked out to the forest. "They must've left for cover." I went downstairs and I got a helicopter. Amy, Spazz, Olivier, Maria, and Aurora came with me on the helicopter to find Kianna and Jason. "Keep a look out for anything." I told them.

"Look! A cave!" Spazz exclaimed, pointing. It was a long way away.

"And a feather!" Olivier chimed in, pointing to a purple feather flying in the wind. It was covered in red. I gasped.

"We need to find them! Fast!" I made the helicopter go faster as we headed for the cave. When we got to the cave, we headed inside. We brought a flashlight each. I shined the light and saw something or somebody covered in leafs. Then I saw a wing. I shone my light at the wing to see Kianna. She had her wings wrapped around herself. "You guys ok?" I asked. She turned around.

"Thank goodness! Jason needs help! Shadow came and-"

"And attacked him?" I asked.

"Yes! He was after me at first, but Jason told him that he had to deal with him first, so they started fighting. Shadow stabbed him several times and I-I don't know if he's going to be ok..."

"Trust me, he'll be fine..." I reassured her. Aurora and Spazz took Kianna to the helicopter as I helped the others take care of Jason. Then we brought him on the helicopter and we flew away, hoping we could make it back in time.
