Tonight is the night.

Tonight is the night.
When darkness takes flight.
When the dead arises leaving humans with their cries.
It's when the night's children are on the loose.
Both vampires and werewolves.
Tonight is the night.
When many different creatures walk around.
It's when monsters ghost and goblins all get along.
As they say trick or treat.
And sing their weird song.
Fear consumes all children alike.
Both girls and boys cry in fright.
But that's what keeps this story untold,
And for many more centuries, it will uphold.
