Hades  3rd person Pov

Hades was going over the stats of the number of shades collected between Hermes and Thanatos. "I'm going to have to have a talk thanatos.. how is he almost 5,000 shades behind Hermes?!" he mumbled to himself. work was getting to him. Yes, work was getting to the one and only king of the underworld, but could you blame him? Looking after the entire underworld and keeping up with his idiotic brothers is stressful, but that wasn't what was causing him issues. it was actually a certain pink little goddess that was causing him so much grief. It wasn't that he didn't like her. it was just how he felt about her that was causing him so many issues. Gods... Persephone. if only she knew what she did to him. He loved that goddess more than she knew, and it drove him insane.

It didn't help that he recently broke up with Minthe. It felt like that relationship was the only thing holding him back from Persephone. He wanted to tell her so badly, but he was never able to find the right words. Not only that but what she rejected him? He wouldn't want to put her in that position... He loved her too much for that... Besides even if she did accept his feelings he was scared he would break her... she was so sweet and innocent, so kind... He on the other hand... he was a cold man who kept to himself, with too much trauma to load onto a little goddess like Persephone... Though that wouldn't stop him from admiring her beauty and-

"Hades you have a meeting in ten minutes" Hectate stated. Hades looked up from his work to Hecate, being completely pulled from his thoughts.

"This wouldn't happen to be the meeting about Thanatos's numbers in shades dropping would it?" He asked as he pushed up his glasses. Hecate nodded and smirked.

"What did you expect? Hermes will be in the meeting too so we can compare their stories and numbers."

"Good... Maybe after this meeting, Thanatos will actually improve" he sighed

"I wouldn't bet on it" She chuckled. Hades chuckled in response as he gathered the papers needed for the meeting and stood up.

"Might as well go ahead and head down there... I don't want to prolong this meeting more than I already have" he stated. Hecate nodded in response and walked out of his office and towards the meeting room, with hades following close behind.

Hades headed down to the meeting room with Hecate at his side. He opened the door to see Hermes already there waiting for the meeting to start.

"Good afternoon boss!" Hermes exclaimed. Even though Hermes was showing his bright smiling face there was still a hint of fear. Though this was understandable because hades didn't tell them what this meeting was about.

Hades only hummed in response as he sat down at the end of the table. Hectate walked to the front of the room where she could control the PowerPoint best.

After a while of silence, Hades looked up to see if Thanatos or Minthe had arrived yet. To no one's surprise, they weren't there. He sighed in annoyance. Sure he knew that he got there early, but by now they should have been there. If they took much longer then they would be late. As Hades was looking around the room he noticed how nervous he looked. This made the older man feel bad.

"Hermes you can relax, this meeting isn't about you, you are just needed to compare data don't worry" Hades stated, a small reassuring smile on his face.

Hermes let out a small nervous chuckle. "O-oh good to know... Thanks, boss"

Just as Hermes finished his sentence Thanatos and Minthe entered the room. Minthe walked to the table and sat down at the opposite side of Hermes, avoiding making eye contact with hades. Thanatos, on the other hand, sat on the same side as Hermes, leaving only two chairs in between the two of them.
