Lwazi's sharp eyes glared at Danika's big black eyes. She quivered with fear from what she had heard him saying.

"Javas has her eating from the palm of his hand."

". . .palm of his hand."

". . .palm of his hand."

Those words echoed in Danika's head as Lwazi was drawing closer and closer to her. She kept walking back and back, trying to escape from this monster's claws.

*Thump*

The door that seemed to appear out of nowhere stopped Danika from fleeing from him.
"You know pearls dissolve in vinegar." He said. Lwazi and Danika were standing so close to each other they were inhaling each other's breaths.

"Hey what are you guys doing," Azania asked, peering through the hallway in Javas' hands. Lwazi plastered a million dollar smile and said: "Danika and I were just. . . getting acquainted. Right Dan-Babe," He said. Danika masked her terrified face with a sterling smile, and nodded.

"Oh okay," Azania said. "At least I hit two stones with one bird, got us both some good-looking crunchy toast," She said. Danika smiled at her comment, yet her eyes sent a message that Azania seemed to miss.
"We're gonna leave you two, to get aqcuainted," Azania said, raising her eyebrows continuously. She was about to leave, but something about Danika was off.
"Uhm, Didi, could you help me get that lipstick from the bedroom," she asked.

Azania pulled Danika out of Lwazi hands, leaving him and Javas alone in the lounge. Lwazi moved closer to Javas, soon their lips collided with one another. "Stop, they could catch us!" Javas said with his eyes mounted on the hallway. "But I missed you, did we escape from Kwabe for this drought that you're causing, just one kiss please?" Lwazi pleaded. "Lweendo, please we can't do that know, it'll jeopardize the plan. Now tell me what exactly did your father say to you?" Javas asked.

Azania and Danika got into the bedroom. Danika hugged Azania so tightly. She felt safe within her hands. "Lwazi, he. . ." Danika said. Tears began gushing down her face when she thought of throwing Azania to the vultures. Danica thought:

"I can't put Zaza, in danger. They'd kill her if she knew, or even her family. But then again if she doesn't know she is at risk. She needs to know but how do I tell her?
How do I rescue her from the hands of her sun, her beginning and end, Javas? How? How? Whatever I do I can't tell her."

"Hey, are you okay? Your heart is beating so fast," Azania said.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Danica said.

"Well, I think we should go home. Javas said he'll take us home, says he wants to see that I get home safely.
Isn't he the best," She said.

"Can't we take a cab, you know that your dad is strict?" Danika asked.

"Damn, I forgot about him. How long have we been here," asked Azania.

"Its been a day, Zaza is Javas that good, that he got you forgetting about time," Danika asked.

*Kong*
*kong kong*

A knock on the wooden walnut bedroom door. Interrupting the girls' bonding session. Javas popped into the bedroom.

"Hey, are you guys okay," He asked.
