"Zee. hey, hey." Joao muttered in his husky voice. His eyes looked red and heavy with sleep. "Did you sleep here?" Azania asked as she kept on adjusting the automated bed with the remote.

"Yeah." He said.

"Oh." She said.

Words could have been uttered, yet the silence seemed to be enough solitude for the moment. Their minds were travelling in a place as far as the heavens. Their hearts. . .

Oh, their poor, poor hearts. Their dark desolate hearts pinged with the blue and black pain engraved into their hearts. It was an ensenseable time to live in.

Azania turned her head to the bedside table, on it was a basket full of all the chocolatey goodies you could think of. Her eyes met the cherry blossom, sunflower and protea bunch. She picked up a note that stuck out of the flowers. It read:

"Experiences become life lessons over time. I wanna say I understand your pain, but I can't. Just know that through it all, I'll hold your hand."

Your soon to be hubby,
Javas

A smile escaped from her sorrowful face. "He came. He came to see me." Joao gazed happily at his sister. When she was happy her task as brother was fulfilled. "Yeah, he said he'll come see you later." He stated.

Doctor Kwanza walked into the room as they were busy breaking the ice. "Good morning, Mr and Miss Buvoir." Doctor Kwanza said.

"Morning Doc." They said in unison.

"Fortunately, I'll be serving you with a hot meal of good news." He said then chuckled. "Get it, cause you haven't had breakfast I'm serving you with. . ." He said to his tough crowd. The two siblings were as blank as a chalk slate on the first day of school.

"Right. Well, I am discharging you today."

"Really?" She said. Her face instantly went from glum to the happiest chum on earth.

"Certainly.
Mr. Buvoir may I please discuss something with you privately," he said

"I'm sure we could discuss it here." Joao said.

The day went on amazingly. The dust that brought pain and confusion, began to settle. Doctor Kwanza had just stepped out of the room and Azania was preparing to leave the dreadful bright place.

All she wanted was the stillness of Oak Lane. "You done, yet?" A voice proclaimed as she was stuffing the black-leather overnight bag with a pile of her clothes.

She turned to see who it was. "You came." She dropped the bag on the creases sheets and sprung to Javas. He stood in the doorway with his arms wide open. "I should vanish more often if this is the kind of love my girl gives me." He declared.

"My girl? You mean. ." She said.

"Yes, Aza, you're mine and I'm yours. Time or other elements cannot separate us. You hear?" He said caressing her blushed cheek.

She melted when he said those words, her core was about to erupt from the butterflies that were frolicking inside her. "Never let me go." She exclaimed covering his neck with her hands. Javas let her rest her head on top of her shoulder.

Azania had what every woman seeks in love; a sense of security. She felt safe. No evil could pull her away from him. Nothing in the world could harm her. Yet, your destruction be the same reason you look at the sun and the moon under a different light?
