Somba Kaanum!!!!!!

Azhage azhagu!

The hesitant dusk sky finally let go of the faded orange scarf and chose to go with the black cloak. As she was adorning herself with the crystals studded crown, she admired herself on the full white mirror. She could see her lover in it as the legends say you see someone you miss when you look at the full moon.

There was a nip in the air and it was the perfect time for a hot piping glass of tea with a loved one. Yes, Kathir and Mullai were having an unexpected rendezvous in their backyard. Mullai couldnt take her eyes off of him and Kathir was leering at her in admiration.

"Aprom, ena solavandheeha? naa avlo azhagaa??? sollunga!"

"Haan.. adhu, ahem ahem...

Un siripu irku la siripu, adhu Velli somba keezha uruti vidumpodhu kadamudakadamudakadamuda nu irukum pathiya adhu maariye sirippu!

Un kazhuthu iruke kazhuthu.. adhu epdi theryuma iruku? Somboda vilumbu mari azhaaaga iruku!!

Un mugam epdi irku theryuma un mogam? Somba kupura kavuthu vecha odane gummnu irkum pathiya, adhu mari jammunu iruku" he goes on and on non-stop!

"Appooooooooo........
nenapu poora andha Sombu mela dhaan irukaaaaa??!!" she flipped out!! She extends her arms furiously to hit him but couldn't feel him.

"Hey.. ndha?!! Edhuku ipo kathikitu irka?? Sombu venum na kekavendidhaane..edhuku ipo kathura?" she saw him next to her but heard his voice from the other side.

"Enna.. aasaya pesitu dhideernu kovama kathuraaha??"..the reality suddenly dawned upon her .." Ada cha..kanava?!" she got up rubbing her eyes.
"Adhaane paathen, enaya paathu aasaya pesida keesida poreenga!!" she muttered to herself shaking her head.

"Ndha, enna nu keten? Thanni venumaa?" Kathir sat up glaring at her. He was irritated that she disturbed his sleep.

"Adhu..kud kudunga.." she shook as she reached out for the water. He carefully handed over the water "Hey, ozhungaa pudi...thooka kalakathula somba keezha potradha!" he warned.

"Mkmmm... paathuthaanga kudikren..unga sombu ku onum aagadhu!!" she twisted her lips and rolled her eyes as she started gulping the water.

"Dho paaru, enaku thookam romba mukiyam.." he started his usual dialogue while Mullai was still thinking about her dream. She kept staring at that sombu...

"En vaazhkaya oru sombu kuda pangu podanum nu naa kanavula kuda nenachadhilla. Ipo ena na andha kanavula kuda sombu pathi dhaan pesuraaha! Naanga eniku othara oruthar purinjukitu kudumbam nadathi... hmmmmph!! Indha sombu ku kudutha vecha alavukuda enaku kuduthuvekala- dhenamum avaru pakathulaye thoongudhu"! her mindvoice was so loud that Kathir's voice got drowned.

".....Ipo nalla thoongina dhaan kalaila kadai la ninnu vela paaka mu... ndha.. unadhaan.. yeiii... enna morachukitu iruka!!" he was confused looking at Mullai's expression.

"Haan.. adhu.. onumilla vidunga. Neenga thoongunga" she came back to the present. He kept staring at her...
"Ennanga?! edhavadhu thappa solitena?!"
"Sombu.. somba unga appava vandhu kudupaaru? kudu ipdi!" he asked with his hands stretched out. He gets it from her and carefully places it near his pillow and gets ready to sleep on his meticulously set-up paai and thalagaani.

"Enga.. thoongardhuku minadi, naa ungala onnu kekava" Mullai had to get it out of her system! "Indha Paai, Thalagaani.. aprom indha Sombu.. idhulaam illa na ungaluku thookame varaadhu dhaane?!"

"Enna ipudi ketuta!! Aama.. indha ulagathula enaku nimadhiye ilana kuda naa thoongiruven.. indha 3 matum ilanaa..!" he just shudders at that thought!

"Arjunan kita iruku Ambu,
Silambathula suthuvaanga kambu,
Paai, thalagaani,sombu
idhu irundhadhaan thookam varum nambu!"
Epudiiii!??!? smirked the MINDVOICE KATHIR(MK).

"Sabbba..idha naa velila sonen thevailaama varum vambu.. vaaya moodra korangu!" he silenced MK!

Mullai was disappointed with his reply and angrily fell on her bed and turned to the other side to sleep.

"Seri, light off panaren" he switched the light off and lied down as the moonlight beamed off of the Sombu across the room giving a beautiful twilight-like feel.

Hello everyone! I am back this time with a new story around the wretched sombu that has been a soreness to all our KM-loving eyes. The timeline of this fanfiction is going to be around the same as my other fanfiction "Guru Dakshanai" ie. around episode 270 of Pandian Stores. So the relationship between Kathir and Mullai will be at that friendly-but-playfully-bantering stage after the learning to ride a bike sequence.

And.. shout out to Kutirani !! She wanted me to do something about the sombu because she knew indha PS team aa nambi prayojanam illa!!😬😥

The new try in this FF is, I am making Kathir into a poetu in his mindvoice and calling him MINDVOICE KATHIR or MK.. poet na odne overa imagine pannadheenga.. hes gonna be reciting rhyming poems apo apo like "Mokka Mohan"- Mirchi Siva from Chennai28 (Radio mirchi Fans.. Raise up your hands!!🙌🏻). So let me know how this Mokka Poetu MK sounds 😉

Also, The first set of dialogues by Kathir is from the Vadivelu comedy of "sombu irundha dhaan maapla thaali katuvaaru"- I guess its from the movie Kadhal Kirukkan. I am sorry, I am unable to get Vadivelu out of my head like always.. and Kathir aa endha situation la nenachaalum Vadivelu dialogues aruviya kottudhu 😝
Edit: Since a lot of you found the Vadivelu reference... The Kathirvelan in my stories ends up becoming Kathirvelu.. a cross of kathirvelan and vadivelu😜 So inime andha mood laye padinga ok?!😜
